Great little inn with only 5 rooms, in an historical stone building. Rooms are very clean and furnished with 5 continents themes. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with traditional Piemontese cuisine. read more

The dining room is also large, it accommodates up to 12-15 people with great views of the wilderness and a large green area next door. The rooms are big and beds comfortable. Bathrooms are modern with plenty of hot water and modern fixtures. I especially liked the wood cabinets which warmed up the room. Didier and Beatrice are a lovely couple, very attentive to the needs of their guests. They live next door and are available almost all the time in case they are needed. They are very accommodating to requests and go out of their way to make sure everything that's needed is supplied. The house is lovely, quiet and beautiful. I only had a bit of a problem with the internet connection, but it was quickly resolved. Beatrice let me use her office to connect. The location is lovely, close to Geneva and a short drive to all the skiing areas of the French Alps. I had a lovely time there for 5 days. I didn't have a car which is a must if one wants to get out in the town, but I specifically wanted some time in a quiet place where I could write and relax.

I stumbled upon this B&B upon the website recommendation of a wine tour that I booked - - and could not have been happier with my 3-night stay! I travel A LOT for work (100+ nights/yr) and always stay in hotels. But the charming hospitality, modern conveniences, close proximity to town, and extreme attention to detail have made this little B&B one of my favorite stay experiences. Basically for 3 nights, I felt as though I was staying in my own little apartment - - my room had everything (and more) that I could have needed. Large balcony with picturesque views... modern bathroom with amenities... large spacious room.... super comfortable bed... desk complimentary WiFi that worked flawlessly! :) (much appreciated!) Raffaella & Lorenzo are the most gracious and generous hosts. I'd love to go back in a heartbeat. Any detail that you may have thought of, they already have it for you at this charming, small-city B&B. Breakfast was a large assortment of organic and locally made items: local honeys, fresh-made breads, pastries, cereals, yogurts, coffee, tea Exceptional value for my stay. :) :)

The breakfast included an impressive selection of meats, cheeses, breads, etc. It's too bad we only had one night here! As for the area- we were able to walk to several nearby shops & restaurants. Great breakfast buffet each morning, nicely appointed and comfortable rooms, excellent showers. But, what sets this hotel apart is the service. All the staff are incredibly responsive and helpful. If you will need again within the next couple of hours they will park in their interior courtyard. We used Turin as our base of operations, but on two occasions we left for two days (skiing at Courmayeur and bullet train to Rome). In both cases we didn't want to haul all of our luggage. No problem--they held our luggage until we returned. We enjoyed our time in Turin and will definitely come back. There's no question where we will stay--Grand Hotel Sitea!

We spent 3 nights here and it was great the entire time. The front desk staff is quite knowledgeable and friendly. As a non-Italian speaker, it was nice that they all spoke English pretty well. The breakfast buffet each morning did not disappoint. While we were there it included fresh pastries, fruit, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal, and a few other items. Each room has it's own feel. Ours had two beds, a large bathroom, and some gorgeous views out the windows. The common areas are gorgeous and the hand paintings on the walls are impressive. The entirety of the staff, even those who I really couldn't talk to, were very friendly. There are a lot of stairs in this hotel, but a small elevator will take you up to the rooms. The grounds of the htoel are great and pretty. They have an outdoor pool, tennis court, and a Turksih spa. They do offer room service, but it is between the same hours the restaurant in the hotel is open. Apparently this time of year (around October) they restaurant sometimes does not open for lunch since it is an off season. Be prepared for that, but if you are unsure where to go the front desk can make you reservations elsewhere. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I think I would have loved it even more if I had a car and could see the neighboring areas since it was not particularly walking friendly.

Otherwise, the cleaning staff will literally open the door while you are sleeping or continue to knock every 30 minutes or so to be able to get into the room to clean.
