The only downside was a very, very limited number of starter options. Also nice to get out of the tourist area but stilll only a 10 min walk from the city centre. FAST Food: we started with a bottle of Merlot wine from South Africa which was priced very well and ordered the BBQ ribs which were very good, and the surf and turf. The two 5oz petite filets were cooked medium rare and perfect. The lobster was a bit dry, but very tasty. Atmosphere: it's a very nice restaurant, feels very high class, they do have a dress code but as long as you look nice I think you're fine, and all types of people, young and old, enjoying their meals. Service: our waiter was from Greece and super nice and checked in on us several times. Tip: if you're here during high season make reservations.

I realize things happen, and food can get messed up, or left out long enough to become cold before brought to the table. Any other evening, we would've happily waited for a new meal to be brought to us and given the establishment a second chance at showing us why they have their good reputation. But, since all of this occurred two managers from Miller & Carter have reached out to me more than once to discuss this bad experience and work to rectify it. For me, good customer service goes a LONG way. They reimbursed us for the uneaten meal, apologized again for our negative experience, and invited us back to offer the hospitality and positive experience they are used to providing for their guests. Unfortunately for us, this was a once in a lifetime trip to Stratford Upon Avon, so we will not be able to take them up on the offer. But, I will now be wholeheartedly recommending them to family I have living nearby in England, and any friends that I know who travel there. Thank you, Esme and Phil, for helping right this wrong.

The Crème brûlée was amazing, I haven't seen it done right in many a restaurant I have been too, but this one done to perfection. The coffee, was fabulous, though at this point in the night it was kind of expected.
