As owners and operators of Lobster Restaurant we were most disturbed to have received this terrible review from Josh B along with the similar terrible review from AaronMWS on the same day who were co-diners on 18th July. We remember both these customers very clearly as do three of our regular customers who were dining at the same time.
At no time did either Josh B or AaronMWS express any dissatisfaction with either the food, service or any aspect of our restaurant. In fact both gentlemen ate everything they were served in its entirety without any indication that they were unhappy. This is also the clear recollection of the three regular customers who dined at the same time who having subsequently read both reviews are incredulous that such comments have been made.
Everyone of our customers knows that our Lobster is fresh in fact, it is alive up until the moment it is ordered and that all our food is freshly made to order. We are confident that we have the best value, most authentic and freshest cuisine in the area. It is our view that both of these reviews are disingenuous and we believe the motives behind them are malevolent. The factual innaccuracy of the reviews in respect of service and food and the failure on the part of the reviewers to mention their unhappiness at anytime having been asked courteously if everything was alright leads us to this conclusion.
Furthermore, to denegrate our restaurant and the palates of our customers, who have given excellent reviews, is offensive and clearly designed to undermine our business deliberately.
