There were plenty of things I wanted to try on the menu. I was craving pizza the most so I went with the Pizza Rasdorf with boiled eggs and white asaparagus (and mushrooms) on it. A local told me that those ingredients are not necessarily local to Rasdorf, but I tried it anyway because it was intriguing. I ate the entire thing (except for the crusts...I rarely eat the crusts) and it was perfect with the hefeweizen. We sat outside and they allow people to smoke out there. That's not unusual but I wanted to point it out in case you are as annoyed by it as I am. If I am in town again, I would try a non-pizza menu item.

We were lucky enough to get a table. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated quite quickly and had menus in our hands. The service here is super friendly and welcoming. They have a normal menu and a daily specials board. I ordered the Bärlauch Rissotto with fish for my main and it was very nice. We also had a nice bottle of Italian wine. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The flavours were intense and did not need anything else added to it. The ambience is quite nice and its not very noisy either. The interior is well done and all the tables had nice white tablecloths on them and so on. Whilst it looks like an upmarket place, the prices are not. I would happily come back here again for a meal. I have not found even one pizza place in the USA where I live now (I have lived in several places in the USA) not one place has real italian pizza like Luigi's. I miss that place.
