We're from…read moreCalifornia, so we know what American food and British ale are supposed to taste like, and the burgers, fries, and beer were top-notch. I got the house (MTG) burger, a monster piled high with a near-half pound patty, delicious and crispy bacon, a fried egg, grilled onion, and veggies. No notes. We sat in the back room, so we needed to get the bartender's attention, but it was appropriate for how busy the bar was with the big match on. The bar decor is chock-full of jerseys and photographs - a perfect fit for the vibe of the bar. It was the perfect place to spend our final night before heading home to the creature comforts of the US.
