He recommended numerous improvements which made all the difference in the world during the actual training and shooting. He was excellent with spending the time to sight in the new red dot he recommended. I had purchased another rifle from a gun store that said the Bushnell scope would be "sighted in". Well, they must have hired a deer to do it. Wouldn't even hit the target. Chris made several necessary adjustments. That deer will not be happy. As a result of our time together, I am completely comfortable using the rifle we focused on. To keep some of the lesson top of mind, I did some filming. Chris is extremely patient and caring. No pressure and when I missed something we had previously worked on, he was great. With all of his years of experience in the military, SWAT teams, and police departments, serving and training, he definitely knows what he is doing. It is highly likely that other trainers could have huge egos, not Chris!!! Don't look any further for a trainer, if you are reading this, you found your guy. I will be back for my handgun refresher and some more rifle. The time we spent together was definitely not enough.

I literally showed you on my phone then you walked out with it and went to your computer. I said something along the lines of " I seen it for 853 so I wanted to come here and buy it." If you didn't want to sell it for that price why didn't you say something before we both wasted our time with the paperwork and background check? I'll say it again, if you think I'm lying please send the footage to me or post it. Also we seen you change the price on the computer when discussing it at your desk before you started to get upset about it. You're so flamboyant you typed in the price change with one finger hard as hell lifting your hand about 6 inches above the keyboard with each press of the numbers. This is unbelievable, also I feel like you tried your hardest to call me everything besides the hard R in the messages. I'm not calling you racist but just wow man, it sure looks like it. I didn't call you out your name not one time. I also have a class a license so I don't smoke or use any narcotics. But you seen that when we wasted our time doing the paperwork for my background check. The store we went to right after we left didn't say anything about smelling like marijuana either. We were in the store for maybe 30 or 40 minutes and he admitted he didn't smell it. (Cause there was no smell once again). But stated he was send an OFFICIAL letter to the atf based on what a CUSTOMER said. If this isn't blackmail or some for of intimidation I don't know what else to call it. This man is insane and I don't believe he should be able to operate a gun store. Imagine if he was a cop, He would be the biggest liability to the entire department! He also said I was being suspicious and watched us on camera. So that would mean he watched us stand in front of the car under the hood at the bank next door (off his property) for 10 minutes? Not only did he see that, he must of watched him walk into the bank to before we left right? Well he went in to let them know his car was having trouble and asked if they wouldn't have it towed because we were coming back to get it whether it was being towed out or repaired if it was a quick fix. With that being said, why send out a 2 county wide report lying about me being a suspicious person evading cameras and saying we smelled like marijuana in the store? Why call me out my name then expect me to delete the review with a sincere apology? Why change the price in front of us on your computer before telling me to "look again"? I've only ever been to one other FFL and felt I was gouged; that they made the problem seem worse than it actually was, because it was. I was less that enthused by some of the awful reviews about Williams in Davison. I sort of stubmled onto Johnson's by luck, and I'm glad I did. Jim is the man. The work was outstanding (including the re-blued finish on my barrel) and the price was totally reasonable; $140 for parts and labor (yes, that included the muzzle brake itself) and Jim walked me through which options he recommended and why. I will definitely go back if I have any further gunsmithing needs.

Three gun shops low-balled the value and wanted to buy them at those estimates and refused to try to sell them on consignment. I found Precision Arms on the internet and Todd explained in great detail how they would sell them on an internet auction site. Long story short, all guns were sold in probably 30 days and for far more than they were originally appraised for. In addition, Todd kept both Rachael and me informed as to how things were going.
