HomePartners Title dropped us less than 48 hours before closing! The day the title company dropped us, the listing agent, Lynn Telling at Illustrated Properties, did not answer her phone for over 5 hours for us (the buyers) and the seller! Our realtor went to the one of the companies' offices and was stopped at the door! No one would help him with the transaction. When we called Home Partners Title Services, they said Fidelity National Title would not insure the title and that was why they dropped us. We called Fidelity National Title and Leo the underwriter said there was no reason the title could not be insured!! When I tried to follow up with the president of HomePartners Title Services, Rose M. Sheehan, Esq. she conveniently was sick that day. I left a voicemail and she never followed up. We ended getting the Glassman Legal Group in Weston, FL to close us in less than 24 hours! According to Glassman himself, the title is "clean as a whistle" and there is no legal reason that it cannot be insured. We ended up finding out from the seller that Lynn kept telling him NOT to take our offer because she had a cash offer coming from a friend! She wanted this deal to fall through. This whole mess involved not only a realtor, but a whole brokerage, and a title company! What they did to us was illegal and unethical. I hope I can prevent someone else from experiencing such chaos!

Fast Forward 2 years later and we suddenly have to move so we called John Cullen again and this time he showed us several homes to buy. Long story short: Went house hunting early July, went into contract a couple days later and this past weekend my wife and I are proud owners of a home in Turtle Creek. John listened to our preferences and met all of them. We wanted Martin County taxes but didn't want to be far from PBG/NPB and we also had a hard deadline because of our lease not being renewed last minute.
