The mural is massive and features a dog with a space helmet and stick looking people with numbers counting up to 15. Kinds reminds me of the old highlights magazine games I would play as a child. While I'm not sure exactly what is happening in this mural or the meaning of it I do enjoy it. It's massive and fun. Also it is right across the street from another cool mural that features the plant from the movie little shop of horrors saying "feed me more". So a pretty cool area to check out for public art lovers.

When I was nearby Covington visiting the Newport aquarium and seen that they had this mural I had to stop in and see this. Loved the movie little shop of horrors (1986 version) growing up. The mural is well done and boasts the classic "Feed me" demands of the carnivorous Venus fly trap. The mural brought back heart nostalgia for me. I could practically here Levi Stubbs voice yelling out "feed me Seymour!" When visiting. Overall very fun and cool public art mural. I always enjoy checking out towns murals and this is a fun one for sure and one of my favorites I've seen.

Resembling some sort of Greek or Roman architecture (not sure) this is a stunning mural. It was created in 1983 by Richard Haas and restored roughly 20 years ago with funding help from Kroger Co. A documentary about the restoration of this mural titled 'The Spirit of Cincinnatus Growing with Cincinnati' was also made and entered into several film festivals. This is truly a must see mural.

The mural's actual title is Homage to Cincinnatus and over looks a parking lot. It is on the side of the downtown Brotherhood Building. It was painted by Richard Haas in 1983 and looks amazing. They did do some touchups in 2015 which was a collaborative effort between Hass and ArtWorks. The painters claimed that they almost had to start from scratch, which explains why it looks so good. It was commissioned by the Kroger Company in honor of their centennial. The mural depicts a statue of the city's namesake, Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, in front of a palatial building. It demands your attention. It has an antique feel to it. There is some in metered street parking in a reasonable waking distance. . There are also commercial garages and lots you can park in, but they are pretty pricy. I just pulled into the lot that it overlooked and got my fill and then quietly left. Anyway, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a very long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. You may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other murals in the area or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip. This abstract mural is located in the Gano alleyway on the side of 21c. Museum Hotel Cincinnati. It…read moreis in great shape and is a collaborative effort between Jenny Roesel Ustick and Kiik Create who painted the piece in 2018. It is 60 feet wide and 15 feet wide. This was actually part of an exhibit of the two's work that went by the same name as the mural. I like the color used in the mural it is like high-def, a color explosion. I am normally not an abstract art kind of guy, but this one works for me. Construction in the area has really limited metered street parking to get a closer look of this mural. There is still some in a reasonable waking distance. I parked about a quarter mile away. There are also commercial garages and lots you can park in, but they are pretty pricy. You could easily pull into the alley that the mural is located, get out and take a closer look Anyway, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a very long stop.
