Also, I was concerned with educational activities accompanied by fun and playing in the daycare and they are great at this too.

It's so funny leaving this review 20 years later. I went to CU from PreK-1st grade. It's a part of…read moremy childhood I hold onto fondly. I was a student when the giant treehouse was built. I don't want to be a teacher but if I were I'd want to be like the ones who shaped my time here. It makes me tear up thinking about all I experienced from meeting famous authors, starring in musicals, tipping in my Halloween costume on the yellow brick road, and that one time I refused to color in my connect the dots assignments and it was sent home with a note (my mom later framed it). Arlington is already diverse but it was good to see all the different backgrounds my friends were. If you're wondering if your kids will value going here, I am certain they will remember it fondly as CU fostered my love for reading, adventure, and friendship.

We made the tough decision to transfer our daughter to Children's University to be closer to home…read more I couldn't be happier with the decision. The greatest compliment has been my child saying about her old school, "I'm not returning because I love CU." (Talk about music to our ears when she said that.) CU is a warm, family-oriented environment that caters to the individual child. It provides the academic rigor vital for us, along with a host of enrichment opportunities from robotics and animal husbandry to chess and cheer. During our exploration, what sealed the deal was what we witnessed during our CU tour. We passed a group of children (who appeared close in age to my child) working on a group project in the library. They were discussing their different perspectives and had books that they were referencing. While we knew nothing about the project, I was impressed by how immersed they were in the work, and all appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the educational experience. So many vital skills were underway without them knowing it, which filled us with optimism about our child's future development at CU. Our family couldn't be happier to be part of the CU family. Our daughter is thriving; she has the best, most wonderful teacher. It's a true partnership, and we're beyond grateful. If you're looking for a program for your child, I recommend CU. It's a blend of academic excellence with a curriculum that challenges and inspires, enveloped in the most attentive environment dedicated to helping your child reach their fullest potential.

The teachers hate it there the cooks hate it there they all talk about the director and the management team and each other. Teachers call in so you can't drop off your kids or have to wait till they figure it out they are horrible kids getting hurt. Bruised and bite up these people shouldn't be in child care !!

It genuinely breaks my heart to write this! My baby has attended KRK for almost 5 years. They…read morebecame like family! Unfortunately, Ms. Tracy sold the business to new owners recently and everything has changed For the past month it has seemed like everyday another employee has left; they all look so miserable! My daughter's Pre-K class has experienced SIX different teachers so far this school year!!! SIX! We received almost daily reports of accidents, injuries, etc. that rarely happened before. For the first time in her life, my child doesn't want to go to school! we received very little communication from school management. They were so short staffed one day, the school sent out a message asking us to pick up our kids as soon as we all could because they were short handed! We have had multiple meetings to try to express our concerns and seek a solution with zero improvement. Before writing this I reached out to the owners and have received no response. But most disturbingly of all, this week the new management held a lockdown drill without ever training the staff (or even apparently telling them it was a drill!). Management went around banging on doors, etc. pretending to be an active shooter. Students were told if they make a sound "the bad people with guns will shoot and kill you"! My 4-yr-old (as well as many of her classmates) are terrified, having nightmares, and asking if they are going to be shot and killed. Lockdown drills are important. It's not necessary to traumatize babies! We (along with many others) had to make the difficult decision to pull our kids yesterday without a plan for childcare. I feel my child was no longer physically or emotionally safe at that school. I never could have imagined things going this way!
