Working in a virtual world, it's more important than ever to have a good picture to connect with colleagues who we don't meet in person as much as we used to. The experience is great - you arrive, Jom shows you the setup, does a few test shots, fixes a few details (in my case, combed my eyebrows and used tape to straighten out a wrinkle in my shirt,) and then coaches you on smile and positioning for a great shot. Jom then helps you quickly choose the perfect shot, and gets underway with the photoshop retouching process while you stand next to him. I held off right until the last minute before booking in one weekend. To be honest I was a bit nervous, the last time I had professional photos must have been in highschool and you know how those turn out. Anyway we had the photos at Bicentennial Park, I'm sure I've been past there so many times. It was surprisingly relaxed, and I didn't have to pose or smile at the camera as I had expected. We played some games and just walked around a bit. It was really more like a date in the park (haven't had one of those in a while).
