Imboden was top notch. Honored my (confusing) reservation and got us paid and on our way quickly. Very organized. Bike helmets were quite comfortable and adjustable. Had no issues with e-bikes or lock they provided. Fun way to explore Lauterbrunnen Valley. We rode by cows, farm fridges, and waterfalls. Get there when they open (9a) as a line does form, even with a reservation. read more

Probably the worst customer service I've experienced in Europe. While the lady at the front was nice and helpful, the blonde guy who actually gives you the bike was extremely rude and disrespectful. If you want to bike in the city just expect a direct verbal insult. Better yet don't waste your time here. I came with friends but I would never bring family here. Seeing family get verbally assaulted is not my idea of a fun time. read more

Most beautiful experience I've ever had! Do not pass up this almost hidden gem. Also - don't let the 4 in a row 1 Star reviews taint this place for you - looks like all the guys from one trip purposely tried to bring down the rating. Our experience was the exact opposite - staff was friendly, informative, and truly great. We wanted to book a Lauterbrunnen waterfall E-bike tour but Flying Wheels in Interlaken seemed to be the only thing a search pops up. Not wanting to spend time getting there, we decided to take a train straight to Lauterbrunnen and rented E-bikes at Imboden - which was the Best decision ever!! It's a very short walk on the main strip from the train. We arrived right at 9a opening and were able to rent two without reservations (had we arrived later, probably wouldn't have been able to so plan accordingly!) Staff was amazing, showed us how to use them and a map of where to go. Rode thru town all the way past, took the gondola with the bikes up the mountain toward Murren, then across the top of the mountain back down the other side. Originally booked 4 hours then called to ask staff to extend for a half day - with zero issue. Waterfalls, cliffs, cows, switchbacks, wildflowers, "Honesty Shops", and the most AMAZING views at every stretch. I'm so glad we took our own time so could stop any time we wanted and were on our own schedule. Best advice - unless you're a professional or have legs of steel - USE THE GONDOLA up toward Murren. The other side is all downhill and we saw a ton of people struggling uphill the opposite way (even with the E-Bike assist). You'll still get those legs in - promise. Horrible experience soured a beautiful bike trail. The staff member that picked out the rental bikes was incredibly disrespectful. He was white, blonde, and had short hair. He talked to my group condescendingly when he showcased the bike. When I couldn't answer his questions fast enough he even asked me if I had smoked marijuana that morning! One of the worst experiences in an otherwise great trip. When returning, we were greeted with sarcastic applause and a "Bravo" from him for not having an accident. My friends and I had a terrible experience here with a super rude staff member (blond male). The guy was very aggressive from the start and insulted our friend asking if he was "high" and what he was smoking. He then explained how the bikes worked in a way that felt like he was talking to kids. When we returned he started clapping and said "bravo" as if it were some major accomplishment to have rode the bike. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone simply to avoid this one person and avoid having your bike ride in one of the most beautiful places tainted. read more

Got awesome BMC bikes to explore the falls n ranches around lauterbrunnen. Highly recommend bike ride around the area. Great service, had a small hick up with my bike as it had some problem after 10 min of riding and i had to call them to rescue. They were kind enough to ride a new bike to my location for a replacement. Would have been great if i was explained how the gears work before handing over. We rented the bike for 2 hrs for 25 chf per person, a little bit pricey but amazing to ride on car free zone! Specially liked the views n visit to trummelbach falls. read more
