Currently here, paying them a SECOND time for a screen replacement. I live in Missouri, and my screen had went black and was unusable. The screen was not cracked on the front, but was cracked on the back for the past 2-3 years. Ive had it for 4 years. It is the iPhone 11 Pro. When i brought it in about 6 weeks ago, they replaced it. About a week later, it would glitch and start pressing buttons and doing stuff on its own. Since I dont live here, I just had to deal with it. I would press the power screen to shut off screen and then start over and close out of things. I tried calling and emailing to get a refund for their lifetime warranty. Well Friday, the screen slowly dimmed all the way to black again, and I emailed them again for a refund to get it repaired in Missouri. Well, Monday it started working again, and Wednesday, once again, dimmed to black and unusable. I have not dropped the phone and it has had no water damage. The first technician did NOT notate the phone had a crack on the back of the phone. I am 100% of MY PHONE having a crack in it for a couple years now. This is bad business. My livelihood is from my phone. It's how I make a living, get directions, and do work as I own a business and work a full time and part time job apart from that. I am now being charged an additional $112.87, plus the $172.71 I paid. This lifetime warranty is no good, if their employees are not taking the proper, neccesary notes and steps to keep track of every device they handle. Need to train people to slow down and have a checklist. I feel screwed. read more

These are wonderful employees who understand customer service. My repair was completed in 30 minutes and the screen ended up being defective so I took it back and had another put on and was perfect! They've also replaced iPad screens for me with no problem at all. I highly recommend this service! read more

They were slow checking for problems on my Apple laptop. Took a week. Failed to call to keep me appraised of what was being done. That said, they did a great job erasing and reinstalling the operating system. The final cost was well worth the wait. I will use them again. read more

I've used this vendor to repair my family's mobile devices because of their prices and quick turnaround. I'd give a more favorable review but the staff is a bit flaky and not familiar with prices. Need your laptop repaired? Well, don't take it to iMechanic on Pershing! A dear friend of mine went there to check on hers. There's apparently a guy that talks to you on a monitor. He forgot to mute himself before he started talking to the guy downstairs. She was never rude or mean but this @$$hole called her a few choice names and told dude to just 'take the b*tch her f*cking computer and to tell her to have a nice day'. All she wanted to know was when it was going to be done. They say they offer same day repairs and it's been there a week. So anyway, the guy on the monitor starts talking to her again and says they're just going to give her computer back to her. She told him, "that's fine but you might want to remember to mute yourself next time instead of just the person in the lobby. I heard everything you said. You, sir, are the b*tch and wipe that damn snot off your face, punk!" She got her stuff and away she went. She just couldn't believe how awful and rude they were! read more

My wife and I brought in a fully functioning Apple iPod Touch 6th generation with a cracked screen to your Decatur, IL. location on 2/13/2019. We had not received a call after a couple of days, so stopped to check on it and was told it would be done in a couple of hours and they would call us. No call again, towards your end of the business day, so we called you. Was told it would be done and ready to pick up in 1/2 an hour or we could get $10 off to wait and pick it up the next day. We opted to pick it up the next day, guess what, a different person again and still not done. Was told again it will be done be done shortly and they would call. Again no phone call, so we stopped by the store again and awesome it is done, nope forgot the screen saver we had asked for when we first dropped it off. No problem, put on the screen saver and we are good to go. I mentioned the $10 off you offered and was told, sure it has already been taken off. We paid the bill, just ready to get out of your store, checked the bill later, guess again, no $10 off! No big deal we have our iPod back and done with the aggravation. No no, not yet, got it home and the camera will not work (my wife's favorite feature). Back to store, drop it off, same story, we will call. Give you three days, still no call. My wife goes back to your store and is told it is all ready to be shipped to Indianapolis to be soldered for the camera not working. This being set up without our knowledge and never even a phone call! Another customer comes in looking for her phone that has been sent off also and promised back weeks ago. My wife says wow, I have been through enough, give me my iPod and a refund. Which this different clerk, again, is happy to do and be done with us. Guess again, my wife turns on her iPod and now it has lines running up and done the screen, clerk tells her this is no big problem, it just was not snapped back together properly. He takes it for a quick fix, brings it back all fixed. Nope, lines still there, he says that it all because of a faulty new screen. Well guess where the screen came from and who put it in. That is right, you iMechanic... Now, we are both reasonable people and can communicate and understand things happen. But none of that was reflected on your side or even attempted. My wife takes really good care of her things and is also very understanding. She was heartbroken that she brought a fully functioning iPod with just a crack in the glass and now has a useless piece of equipment. She feels so bad and blames herself for bring it in to a scam and a scripted set of answers that are only delivered when returning to the store or calling. THIS PISSES ME OFF. Oh, it gets better. iMechanic calls us after the fact (never once called us about our repair) at our home phone number after your normal business because they are trying to put the refund through on their system. Said they found us, when my wife gave them our last name. Why wasn't this done while she was there? I took the iPod to a completely different repair facility (not another iMechanic, NO WAY), told them what was going on. His diagnoses, was yes he could solder, but there was a good chance with the lines running through it, that it was damaged and opening it up again might be enough that it would get worse or not work at all. read more

i took my iphone 7 plus in to get my screen replaced, first of all, they didn't even have the right color to put on my phone and when i got it back i couldn't have my ringer on or else my phone would freeze up for 5 minutes and then restart. also, ALL of my sound came out my ear speaker and none out of the bottom one like it is suppose to. once i took it back in and told them the problems i was having they just wanted to blame it on a "software issue" but the issue was my phone had ZERO problems before i had taken it in besides a cracked screen. i do not recommend going to these people from my experience. read more
