This company was selected by another company that made a large horse mannequin. After requesting…read morethat the delivery NOT be made on certain dates, the delivery was still scheduled during that time. When I was called to schedule the delivery, the times were listed as 1-5 pm - so I made arrangements to be available then. I also asked for an hour out call so I could make final preps to be away from my duties - the driver called when he was 15 minutes away - and called at 11 am. I could not make it there in time so someone else had to sign for the item. 20 minutes later, the driver called and said, "do you have a forklift?" - he actually wanted me to get the item off of the truck! It weighed 400 pounds! He also asked if there were people around that could help to get the item off the truck - liability issues abound! When none of those options were available, the driver said that he would be back with a truck with a liftgate and that it would be extra. The original shipper took care of the costs associated with the liftgate. The delivery was rescheduled and again, the time set for 1-5 pm. I made arrangements at work so I could get away during work hours. The driver called at 10 am and said he'd be there in an hour. Once there, he struggled immensely to get the item off the trailer and then ended up just leaving it in the driveway without helping to get the item to where it was supposed to go. Interactions with the people at the company were frustrating as I was unable to call during business hours due to my schedule and they didn't have voicemail or an email address. When I finally found an email address, the response was unprofessional. "Are [sic] phone number is..."? And a reply of "yw" (for "you're welcome")? The only good side is that the item arrived without damage.

It was a 4 mile move from her house to the assisted livjng apartment. I contacted them earlier this week and they said they were good to go. I drove 8 hours last night to meet their movers this morning. They did not show up! After repeated calls and texts to different numbers, the recorded response from one was "we are not accepting calls at this time". The text response is shown below. There was no school and there was no brown Nissan! No truck! No movers! No move! No explanation! No apology! Thank goodness for My Buddy's Movin' Company in Bloomington who I called, and when I explained the situation went above and beyond to help me out! They did a great job!
