Up the stairs and to the left they have very comfy designed library-lookalike with rows and rows books for sale with price tags showing fractions of what the original prices were. Books sold here are extremely in good condition, unlike in several "Antikvariet" I have been to, but there are obviously newer books too. To put it shortly, if you're about to give someone a book as a present from here, they wouldn't know if it's second hand and it's good for the whole saving environment stuff isn't it? Less trees to fell for your books. Next to the book room, there's the children articles occupying the space. Clothing, toys, you name it. On the right side of the upper room there is the second hand clothing area. They all look in very good condition, I guess The Red Cross is very good at vetting these clothing. I did a browse to see if there's anything I like. Alas, I'm quite picky when it comes to clothing. But hey, it's worth checking out, and when you need to give (Christmas) presents, this place is maybe worth to look at.

The Copenhagians might be rolling their eyes over these and their frequency in every home/cafe/restaurant, but as a foreigner who is about to leave town for a while (yes, I cry myself to sleep every night because of this), I think they are great souvenirs! The prints/posters are maps of famous, big cities around the world, but most are from our very own Copenhagen. Either the city itself or of certain areas. Since I have lived in both Amager and Østerbro, I decided to get those two. The prints come in many different sizes and colors, and you can also get them in simple frames. The prices are also decent, I think. The woman working there was very patient with my trouble to make a decision about which color and frame to get, etc. Kudos! Design wise, I think the images are clean and elegant. They could hang in almost any home (maybe that's why they do). Upon buying, you get your posters in a fun packaging, also helping to make this an excellent gift for someone who have a special place in their heart for Cph, or perhaps Nørrebro?

Tøjeksperten has survived because of good old values as quality, super service, and classic supply of mens wear and accessories. You can go here to stock up on your standard clothing; jeans, shirts, t-shirts, pullovers, underwear, and socks. I often go here to buy presents for male family members. They have the usual things you buy for presents, when you are not sure what else to buy. They are member of a big chain of mens wear shops with stores all over Denmark, so it's easy to exchange the present, if you made the wrong choice.
