This review is for my trainer... the awesome Ray aka RayBFit. Man... where do I start? This guy has completely changed my life... literally mind, body and soul. He's pushed me to become a better version of me... someone who i can't even recognize anymore. He's changed not just how my body looks but how i look at my self and my body. I've become more confident and i've learned to love myself more by becoming healthy. My 1:1 training are always challenging but fun and I look forward to attending his boxing and HIIT bootcamps. I started not having a lot of strength and agility... now I'm out here preparing for my first HYROX and running 6 miles with ease in just about 8 months. If you want a complete lifestyle and body/mind change... hit up my man Ray. As for the facility... I love how welcoming everybody is. The facility is always clean and it's never too crowded. Lots of top of the line equipments that will help you meet your goals. Also... playlist always dope!!!! read more

MYYY COACH, JUSTIN VELICARIA! I started training with this guy 4 years ago back at the original Self Made location. I came to him honestly at probably one of my lowest points in my life, weighed the heaviest I had ever been, and just knew I needed to turn things around and he was the first person that came to mind. In the past 4 years, he has taught me ALOT. He always had answers to any questions I had regarding my training or nutrition, which helps out in the long run because I learn how to make smarter decisions myself! A good coach doesn't just tell you what to do, but they have to be able to explain why... and it make sense. Not only that but he's incredible in being able to improvise and adjust programs/schedules to MY needs. He listens and pays attention to when work is needed in specific areas and offers multiple solutions so you don't feel stuck. You need that in a coach. ‍ Our sessions are always so fun and he gives his undivided attention and is always engaged with his clients during training. With a big ol' smile on his face. He helps you through your sets (even as simple as counting reps out loud for you to help push you through), adjusts your form as needed (and explain why), and doesn't have his face buried in his phone or sit down and boss you around the whole time during a session. He's unlocked a lot of potential in me and continuously does so even to this day. It's difficult to not want to make someone like him proud. He knows what he's doing and ALSO succeeds in his OWN training outside of his own clients! You can tell he loves what he does. He even started training my mom and she's the healthiest and happiest I've seen her in a while. I can never thank him enough!!! All in all - Justin is a coach that truly leads by example. If he eats, we all eat. I'm a product of this man's coaching and guidance and I'm now a competitive powerlifter. I've competed and placed in my last 2 powerlifting competitions because of him and we're not stopping. TEAM JITFIT BAYBEEE! STRONK! read more

I trained at Impact with Heather for 2 years before I moved. I always looked forward to going to Heather's classes three times a week. It was always a good way to start my day and she always pushed me further than I thought I could go. Even now that I'm out of Vegas Heather still checks on me and pushes me from hundreds of miles away. I recommend her to all my friends in Vegas that are serious about their health and fitness. read more

Awesome facility! Been training with Ray for more than 2 years and he's the best!! I have gotten stronger and he has motivated me and helped me push through my limits. He always hype me up and believes in me. I could never meet my fitness goals without him. He helps you in being consistent with staying healthy. I first learned about Self Made through a friend who takes boxing classes there and it's a really nice and clean gym and that's when I was introduced to Ray who is an awesome trainer there! His IG is Ray.B.Fit so I would recommend you check out his page. I mainly want to talk about my trainer Ray who is just amazing at what he does and it really shows through his dedication. He holds Boot Camp/boxing classes every week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8 PM which consist of cardio, timed stations with a variety of workouts for each one, boxing and technical boxing as well. He offers 1on 1 classes too, but the group sessions are so much fun! Now and then he also holds fit challenges which can get very competitive Lol. Overall, Ray and the group of people who take his classes are so supportive with everyone's fit journey so it feels like you gained a fit fam. ^_^ read more

I've been training with Ray for a little bit over a year and my transformation has been insane. When I started with Ray, I had back issues due to a previous injury that caused nerve damage. He made sure to customize my plan not only to reach my overall fitness goals but also to build my overall back strength and to avoid injury. Now my back problems are nearly extinct and I can lift heavier than I could before my injury! Ray will make you a customized plan and push you to improve your overall health in ways you didn't know you could. I work out with Ray 5 times a week and it's the BEST part of my day. He even offers a variety of boot camps too! So much fun to be apart of such a cool gym family. Ray is incredible, knowledgeable, and not to sound dramatic, but I literally trust him with my life. Hit him up! You will not regret it. read more

First of all the venue is great, but beware of who you train with. Las Vegas do not train with @CoachDTrain_ I wrote this to the gym I use to train at. I hope to get a good response. It's not just about the money it's about the principal. I urge you all not to train with Dorian Warmsley. "Hi my name is Joy Ngaosivath, I was training with Dorian Warmsly and after 5 months of sessions I would always pay in full 24 sessions, this last session, I had told him about my injury and he persisted to shame me for the weight and new exercise given. I told him about my two car accidents and he persisted to shame me for not following through with the exercise. The next set I had a sharp back in my back and then continued to have the pains later that day and had to take medication to help the pain. After 5 months of evaluation of his training sessions I decided to end my training with 15 sessions left. I asked for a refund for the unpaid sessions and he declined it saying there was no refunds for unpaid sessions which is not stated in form prior to having him services or during his services he never mentioned it. Because he is an independent contractor I am not sure if you can say anything but I am very upset his lack of professionalism & compassion." read more

This review is solely for a specific trainer who took my money and never trained me, I have countless messages to him requesting my money that he took and ran, Darran Hall, you still owe me $250 for training that I never received and a nutrition plan that was never sent, I've asked for my $ several times and have proof, and you are yet to refund me that money, that's theft on your part and to have to come on to this site to make it known should be embarrassing enough for you to just return my money that you happily accepted from me, you can always Zelle me or cashapp me. You should be ashamed, at the time I was grieving the loss of a loved one and you took advantage of that, next will be small claims court. read more

I recently joined this gym from a recommendation from a friend. I have been training with Justin V. and In the short time I have been there he has been absolutely amazing! Super knowledgeable in his field and has taught me proper posture on workouts and also gave me tips on nutrition. His sessions are always super fun with a great supportive team! He also is very accommodating, I work some unpredictable hours and I'm glad he's more than willing to accommodate to my work schedule. Definitely looking forward to training with him and smashing health goals!! Justin V. Is awesome!! read more

My time training with Aaron has been nothin less than next level. From the nutrition advice, recovery help, the custom made programs, to taking time to learn the way my body reacts to the movements. I learned of Self-Made because I follow Jason on IG and he was offering a complimentary boxing class at this location. So in all fairness I don't know much about the gym itself minus taking the class. From what I can tell it's trainer based more so than a membership type gym. As far as the boxing classes goes I have taken classes at a few different facilities in town and this format is what I prefer. It gets five stars from me! You feel like you are really training and doing exercises that an actual boxer would incorporate into their workouts. The class included drills in the ring, bag work, stations, some sparring and a timed drill at the end that involved teamwork. So in other words this is not your typical cardio boxing where you go in and punch or kick a bag for an hour with no guidance on foot placement or proper technique in a too crowded room. Jason was actually a fighter and it shows. So if you're looking to crush some calories and get a great workout in at the same time I would definitely check out Jason's class! read more

When I was looking for a personal trainer I needed someone to hold me accountable but also be relatable. Justin was the perfect fit for me. Was introduced to Romel from a friend of mine who used to work out with him at Gloveworx in LA and I'm so glad he's here to stay in Vegas! Boxing is difficult to learn but I can only imagine how difficult it is to teach. Looking forward to getting faster and stronger in the upcoming months with his help. read more

I really well kept gym that can cater to any type of workout! Cardio, strength training, power movement - you can pretty much workout and achieve those focuses in many ways given the variety of equipment! It's a very spacious facility where everyone can get their workout in without being cramped and plus everyone is really respectful! I always did my training session with ROMEL MAREQUEZ and boy....! this man puts me to work. Every time I'm around the area, I would always schedule a session with him cause I know he would fix me up right. He's focuses a lot on technique with your workouts whether it's boxing and lifting weights and make sure the workouts are performed correctly. Highly suggest to check him out if you are looking into private session! Boxing session is FIRE!!!! read more

I love SMTF. It's clean and has all the equipments you need. I started with Coach Romel in April- best decision I've made. I remember when I first started, one of the first things he said to me was, "you are much more stronger than you think." That stuck with me. Since I started training with him, I am much more disciplined, consistent, and motivated. He rewired my brain, turning my "I can't" to "I can." He's always checking in with my nutrition and making sure my fitness goals are being met. He's such a vibe! read more

The greatest gym in Las Vegas to improve and be inspired if you want to get on track is Self Made Training Facility. My personal trainer Justin is a really optimistic individual who pushes you to the edges of your physical capacity. I like his energy and encouragement, especially his upbeat attitudes. A trainer who motivates and inspires you to pursue your goals. Finding the best personal trainer is difficult, it took me 18 years after my last gym visit, I thought I was in excellent health and thought I was fit, then what a blessing to meet someone who encouraged me to return, and I adore his positive vibe. Even when he was taking a break, you will never see him with a negative vibe, he is always on 100 percent with no pretension. The part of my results I appreciate the most is that I haven't enjoyed shopping for clothes in six years after giving birth. I am now gladly returning to the XS/Small size. I am really thankful to you helping me achieve my objective in just three months, Justin. You are a real blessing to my physical health. I feel more healthy and confident to wear whatever I want now. I now have more drive and energy each day to maintain my fitness. I now take more exercise, like hiking, more active and go on more trips with my family and friends. You are the best and I will always choose you to be my trainer when I lose track of my fitness, lol. Thank you so much Justin! Again YOU ARE THE BEST JUSTIN!!! read more

I've always casually dabbled in fitness and going to the gym but there's often times I feel I'm missing something. As someone who is online 24/7, it can be hard to discern who and what to trust with all of the information floating around. I came to Justin V at Self Made looking to elevate my training experience and overcome any blind spots I have in my own personal routines.
