Had a dental emergency with my daughter today and was unable to schedule an appointment with her current Dentist. I called Impeccable smiles and was scheduled and seen within the hour. AMAZING. Dr. DeLuca & Ashley (the dental assistant) were outstanding. Dr. DeLuca made my daughter feel safe & comfortable from beginning to end. For that I Thank her. Ashley also made it fun for my daughter and helped get rid of the anxiety we both had being there. The staff, both front office and back office, were all so helpful and professional. My initial experience with Impeccable Smiles came via new home purchase packet with free offers from area businesses. And while my hygienist was pleasant and professional, it rapidly progressed downward from there.... THREE THINGS STAND OUT IN MY MEMORY.... 1. Dr. DeLuca stated I needed extensive work, and to be prepared to spend upwards of $40,000.00. (Dang....there goes my new Tesla....lol) 2. Dr DeLuca prescribed "silver coloidials" something I'd have to google. 3. Tracy, front office person, explained this office did NOT take a dental plan I was going to enroll in. HOWEVER.....never once did she reveal whether office accepted coverage through my Medicare Advantage Plan....which is far superior coverage---and is free with my Medicare plan! PROBLEMS? OR SOLUTIONS---(Expanding on above 3 points...) 1. Starting today, through my Medicare plan coverage (which is included in my medicare advantage plan) I will be undertaking all the work Dr DeLuca suggested---all the way up to upper and lower partial bridges after pulling 6 teeth.....filling several small cavities....and having several teeth capped over to fill in "potholing" and rebuilding top edges of numerous teeth. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **ALL FOR APPROX $600-$1200 out of pocket!!!** ***HUGE DIFFERENCE FROM $40,000 Impeccable Smiles quoted me!*** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 2. From the internet...."Colloidal silver isn't considered safe or effective for any of the health claims manufacturers make." "Manufacturers of colloidal silver products often claim that they are cure-alls, boosting your immune system, fighting bacteria and viruses, and treating cancer, HIV/AIDS, shingles, herpes, eye ailments and prostatitis. However, no sound scientific studies to evaluate these health claims have been published in reputable medical journals." (From the MAYO CLINIC.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hmmmm.....who do I believe? A dentist highballing extremely expensive dental work....or a leading medical institute known world wide? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. I have no knowledge of Dr DeLuca's accepted dental coverages through Medicare Advantage plans----because Tracy never mentioned these coverages exist!!! IN CLOSING----YOU make YOUR OWN EDUCATED CHOICES! I'm choosing to have dental work done by a competing office that handled all the insurance coverages and seems to have my ":best care and health" as their central method of operation. ALMOST THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH DR DELUCA AND IMPECCABLE SMILES..... And the colloidal silvers thing set off my weird "SH*T-O-METER"....and after reading up on them, no way did I believe in their use or a "dentist" that prescribes such seemingly "voo-doo" quackery.... I was numbed up and sat in the chair at this office for 1 hour and 10 minutes. The dentist never came back to complete my filling and the numbing medicine was wearing off. I received no explanation. When I got up to tell them I was leaving, they said "she'll be with you next." I said no thank you as the meds were already wearing off and I had been in the chair for over an hour. Their service was awful and they gave no explanation. Very untrustworthy office and I do not recommend. Went to a different office to find out I didn't even have a cavity!! read more

I have been going to Dr. DeLuca's office for many years, but after my recent experiences I will not be returning. On January 9th, I had a wisdom tooth extraction, because I had gotten a dental abscess on that side of my mouth which Dr. DeLuca determined was caused by this tooth. The extraction itself went perfectly fine. However, Dr. DeLuca's office refused to give me antibiotics post-extraction, even though I told them my initial dental abscess was not completely gone. I called back after the procedure to again request a prescription for antibiotics, and they refused once more. So, of course, my dental abscess has come back with a vengeance. It became extremely severe, and I was febrile as well as developing an abscess in my neck. As you may already know, this type of infection can very easily become life-threatening. I went to urgent care and received strong antibiotics from the clinic doctor. However, when I called Dr. DeLuca's office to discuss further follow-up care for this infection, they did not answer--despite the fact that I was calling during normal business hours. I left a polite voicemail informing them of the situation, but it has now been a few days and I have yet to receive a response. Then there are other concerns I have, which have caused me believe my experience with the abscess reflects a deeper, structural problem with the way things are operating at these offices. While Dr. DeLuca was pulling my tooth, my partner was in the waiting room. He told me that during this time, he overheard women at the front desk discussing how Impeccable Smiles was in trouble for OSHA violations, because people were being forced to keep coming into work while they were sick, and at least one of those people was not wearing a mask--despite being sick! Lastly, they recently emailed me a link to a GoFundMe, for a receptionist's child's life-threatening medical condition. A few people I have mentioned this to have raised the concern of this being a HIPAA violation, because they are using my confidential information for another purpose besides my own care and treatment. But I am more concerned about how much the employees are being paid, if they are forced to crowdfund for urgent healthcare for their children. read more

Dr. Deluca and her staff are awesome. Had several problems for years and had to finally go the denture route. The procedure was amazingly easy and comfortable for me and the after care was super. Dr. Deluca made herself indispensable and was able to make adjustments and tweaks as I needed them. I would even get texts from her from time to time to check up on me. I'm not done by a long shot but I feel so much better about my journey to an impeccable smile with Dr. Deluca beside me. read more

I hated going to the dentist until a friend recommended Impeccable Smiles when I was having a dental problem. From the very first visit, I knew I had finally found a Dental practice that I could trust. Dr. Deluca and the entire staff are fantastic. They make you as comfortable as possible during your visit. I had major dental work completed that required a treatment plan with multiple visits and there were no surprises because I was told up front what to expect throughout the entire process. I cannot thank a friend for recommending this practice. Every member of the staff is professional, knowledgeable, and listens to what the patient is asking. I hated going to the Dentist and that is the reason I had major work done. I wish I would have found Impeccable Smiles a long time ago. This practice cares about your dental needs and educates you on what to do in order to prevent any dental problems. They are very accommodating when it comes to setting appointments. Well i have to say that this office is by far the best dentist office I've ever been too not only did they took care of my son's tooth they even worked after closing to make sure the job was done Dr. Vivian DeLuca is a gem to the dental community ive been to hundreds of dentists as I have 8 children and I have never felt more at home than in this office the Doc and her staff treat you like family even though they've just met you and that speaks volumes in itself the Doc is very knowledgeable and doesn't give you excuses like all the other dentists I've been to.You will forever have my business and anyone that I know that need a dentists I will definitely recommend this office and its staff thank you so much for the great job you guys did on my 14 year old he is very happy with his new front A+±++++++ read more

zero stars if i could give it- Impeccable Smiles on Van Dyke Road in Lutz assured me when I made the appointment (and when I called to check before I arrived for my appointment) that they accepted my insurance. Upon arrival they were STILL checking on my coverage, but took a battery of images and did an initial assessment anyway - You guessed it, nope, they did not accept my retired military plan. "Don't worry about the bill" they said- "our bad" they said. A YEAR later I get a $$$ bill and collection notices.... This is the way Impeccable Smiles on Van Dyke Road does business. I have been going to the same south Tampa dentist office for years, even after moving to Lutz. I am so thrilled I found Impeccable Smiles! The office is clean and every single staff member was courteous and friendly. I can not sing enough praises for my new hygienist, Melissa. Throughout my cleaning and initial new patient exam she made absolute sure I was comfortable the whole time. Instead of telling me they can help me with all my dental needs, they referred me to an orthodontist, when they didn't need to refer me. I visited Dr. DeLuca under dire emergent circumstances, as my two remaining wisdom teeth were the cause of much pain and discomfort. DeLuca and her office staff are heaven-sent. Her staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and the office is beautiful. Dr. DeLuca demonstrated professionalism, attentiveness and care, and took the time to explain the procedure to be performed in detail. Dr. DeLuca loves what she does and it shows. The sum of the experience left me feeling cared for, and not as though I merely received care. Based on this visit, I am comfortable in saying that I've found a family dentist for myself, my 3 year old son, and my wife. I am so glad to have found my family's new dentist. read more

We are having Hurricane rain and winds here in Tampa. My back tooth is killing me, so I call Dr. DeLuca and she returns the call within 10 minutes. Despite the office being close, she asks if I can meet her there in 30 minutes (best words I could have asked to have heard). I meet her there and she numbs me right away - the tooth needed to be extracted. My head had been pounding the last 48 hrs and I am now home with cotton in my mouth. Thank God for Dr. DeLuca - her concern for patients is unequaled! She is sometimes imitated but never duplicated - one of a kind! read more

I have never encountered a more kind, patient and thorough dentist. She takes extreme pride in her work. You never feel like a dollar sign. Her care is always personal.
