We can't recommend this restaurant enough! We stopped here when passing through Lethbridge on a trip and were pleasantly surprised. Placed a large takeout order based on the internet reviews. Wow, never had such bad Chinese food before. Just really poor quality. Egg rolls were what you would find in the freezer section in a convenience store, hardly any filling. Ginger beef wasn't crispy but soggy and some kind of strange red dye in it. Yuk. The almond chicken and vegetables was a disaster. A clear cornstarch sauce with no flavor, no greens, just carrots canned mini corn, celery & a few mushrooms, the almonds were thrown in whole. Came to Lethbridge on business and this restaurant was next to my hotel, and a good choice to visit it was!! The buffet in the evenings is a good price and the selection of foods is really good! Always fresh and tasty!! The servers here are soooo attentive!! Always looking to refill your water and asking if they can do anything for you!! Its not 'in your face' service, just plain old good service! I would recommend if you're in the area and looking for a clean, well run, great service and even better food. We had a lunch at Imperial China Restaurant, Lethbridge yesterday. Imperial China is located on 4 Ave South, which is right beside the Lethbridge Casino. It is a brand new Chinese Restaurant, which has very great local reviews. It offers the lunch buffet, which is around $14 per person. We arrived the restaurant around 11 am (right before the lunch time). It was not busy yet. The restaurant is not big, but it's very clean. We found a seat fast and began our lunch. The food was well cooked, but it was not very fresh. The taste was decent. Not Very excited. Servers were very nice and friendly. They served drinks and clean up the table fast. read more

We ordered take out for a work lunch. When we received the order it was not what we had called in and ordered. We called the restaurant to inquire and were advised that they read the order back to us when we ordered so it was our mistake. They did not read the order back to us, which we have on a recorded phone call. Their only solution for us was to order the correct meal, and they would give us a discount. They would not refund the wrong meal that we received. So they wanted us to spend even more money to get what we ordered in the first place. A good place for Chinese food but holy moly there isn't enough room for the amount of people! We park across the street at the Casino & walk over just because there's never any parking (we've only gone for dinner not sure what it's like for lunch.) and the parking lot is very small!!! We have a truck & i'd rather not worry about it getting hit. For the price it's fine every once in a while but would get expensive at $18 a person granted it's a buffet but still. It's definitely a crowded place, tables are small & not a lot to choose from food wise but it's fresh which is key when it comes to a buffet. The food is good your typical Chinese restaurant. Nothing to rave over. Overall it's not a bad place would be a lot better if they had more room inside & outside for parking. read more

Worst Chinese food I've had. We decided to try this place for my boyfriends Birthday. We waited about a half hour for a table as it was packed.. and I have no idea why. The buffet is very small, not a lot of options and the chow mein is terrible. Chow Mein is my favourite part about a Chinese buffet so was very disappointed that it was so bad. I honestly don't understand why people keep saying this place is the best, because it was a complete waste of money. We wanted to treat ourselves, and instead threw $50 in the garbage. read more

one of the best chinese buffets i have enjoyed eating at.we have eaten there three times with my brother @sister in law. the staff are great, the food plentiful,a little noisey but still pleasant overall.only 2 cons (1)they need a fresher and a better selection of desserts,and (2) when take out people come in and fill there container they need to regulate those persons,as we saw a woman put enough food in her container to feed 5 people,they stopped her after we mentioned this to the manager, as it would ruin it for others.the staff should'nt have to monitor the customers as they should be honest and considerate to the polices of the restaurant. read more

Food is hot and fresh. Not a ton of variety and almost all of the hot dishes are deep fat fried. Would've liked a few more noodle/veggie dishes. Had to wait because place was small, but at least that way there was new food coming out all the time rather than sitting under a heat lamp all day. read more

Decor is minimalistic but clean. Servers and kitchen staff all very friendly and puts on a warm smile even when they're busy. Food is good, came into buffet around 630pm Monday and food is constantly being refilled. Rotation is standard Canadian-Chinese food, but because it's fresh, tasted better than average.
