Located on Notte street, close to lots of other eateries, Yukisan won our vote with the good value of the tasting menu. The restaurant extends a long way in and the decoration was a little eclectic with a big red telephone box in the middle of the restaurant The service was spot on and the food arrived quickly. We opened with a lovely miso soup enhanced by the luxury of scallop, the perfect antidote to the cold winter weather outside. Then, a little rose shaped roll of salmon sashimi - sweet and fresh The next 2 dishes arrived together. Asparagus wrapped in ribeye beef and deep fried prawn were lovely contrasting and moreish ways to advance through the menu There was a choice of main course and the girlfriend and I chose both between us - a sushi platter and a chicken katsu curry.
