"Exchanging merchandise will forfeit your lifetime warranty" When purchasing from Imperial Jewelry there's no mention anywhere on there website that they recommend checking out the product care tips to ensure the longevity of our jewelry before checking out. Exchange policy does not state that an exchange will forfeit the LIFETIME warranty. I believe the consumers should be aware of this policy BEFORE purchasing. This is a silent policy is a weak position. If the terms never state that exchanging for a different item forfeits the Lifetime Warranty, then a customer has no reasonable way to know that -- and "lifetime warranty" marketing sets the expectation that the item you own is covered. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. It has been 6 months since my wife and I bought a diamond ring at Imperial and only now she can wear it in confidence. We had a local jeweler at home rebuild the entire ring after a diamond fell out. It cost us double with the repair. I bought a ring from Imperial jewelers in 2008. Great customer service and it was a good experience. Few years later, one of the diamonds fell off. When I visited them in 2018, I paid to get the diamond replaced. Last week another diamond fell off. When I bought the ring, I had told them that I was going to be wearing this ring all the time. I have another ring I bought from another local store and I have been wearing it for 25 years with no issues. Customer service was great, ring was beautiful but I can't wear the ring with a missing diamond and don't intend to keep paying to replace the diamonds. read more

My darling husband and I visited Imperial Jewelers on a recent trip to St. Thomas. We actually visited quite a few jewelry stores, but ended up buying two gorgeous rings from Hershey at Imperial. The selection at Imperial is unmatched- they literally have hundreds of pieces to choose from, and they have something at every price point. Their sales style is low pressure, and their prices are very fair. I had no intention of getting an Alexandrite this trip, but the ring was so pretty and the price so good, we knew it had to come home with us. I have recommended Imperial to family and friends for so many years I can't count. All in all, my family and I have collectively spent over 200K for Jewelry. Personally my husband and I have spent about 20K over the years. A purchase we made a few years ago has been an ongoing problem since we bought it, a diamond setting for $5,000.00 which I purchased to put my 25th wedding 1 carat IF color D GIA certified anniversary diamond in. That setting was a gift as well. We purchased the setting from Charlie, Imperial put in the stone and we were on our way back to the ship. On our way back, I saw that 2 of the smaller diamonds in the setting had fallen out. I got home and contacted Imperial, they told me to send it back and they would fix it. I paid to have it sent back, including insurance and they sent it back "fixed" A week later the SAME diamonds were missing again. We went on a cruise, and they replaced the small diamonds again, and AGAIN back on the ship, same diamonds missing. Recently, I sent the ring back to them for them to add the diamonds back in the ring which had yet again come out, and got it back again. This time, I put the ring in my safe and was going to purchase insurance for it before wearing it. However, on our 45th wedding anniversary I decided to wear it out. I got home and the 1 carat diamond purchased for our 25 anniversary was gone!!! I took it to a local jeweler who told me the setting was defective, the weld on the basket, holding the diamond let go and one of the prongs actually fell off while he was holding the ring in his hand. He told me that I should contact where it was purchased and tell them they needed to do something. I said, what do you suggest, and they said, "Ask them to replace the diamond with one at their cost, that will be fair since the repair they did was not a good repair and led to the loss of your center stone" They went on to say, it won't cost them anything and that is what they would do faced with the same situation. I called and spoke to them and I told them that I did not expect them to GIVE me a diamond, I would buy one, but is there anything they can do to make it at cost? They assured me they would "make it right" Well, not so much. The diamonds they were going to replace it with were not GIA stones, and they did not even have any specs on it. The one GIA diamond they were going to sell me "at cost" was a ridiculous amount of money for a badly cut diamond according to the GIA number I was able to see on the photo they sent me. I had gone shopping locally for a diamond and the local prices here were much lower and better quality. I thought long and hard about writing about this, a few months have passed and decided that at least I can say one thing INSURE YOUR JEWELRY and make sure you get a true GIA or other accredited appraisal with your purchase. My defective setting was never fixed, and it led to the heartbreak I now have. I realize it's a "thing" no one died, but it's a valuable sentimental expensive item I bought that can't be replaced. The fault lies with the setting that I bought, it was never right. I took the setting to yet another local jeweler to verify that there was an issue with the setting and he verified it saying that the setting was not cast correctly and was brittle. He told me he would not even put a stone in it. One additional thing. I had asked Imperial to please appraise this ring while the diamond was out of the setting and being repaired for the 5TH TIME, a diamond must be appraised to get insurance so I thought that would be a good time to get it done, but they did not do it, and just sent it back and that is why I had not worn it, I was so terrified of loosing the diamond since I had lost the side stones on so many occasions Perhaps if they would have done what I asked when I sent it to New York, I would not be writing this now. I am so upset right now, and have been bitterly disappointed by this company who always said "we are family" They are not family. It seems to me as a "family" member, they would have at least given me a similar diamond at their cost, it would have not cost them a cent to do the right thing. read more

I went into imperial jewelers just to browse. There was a group of people shopping and having a great time laughing and talking. It made the store more welcoming and not high pressure. A watch case caught my eye with puma watches. People who know me know that puma is my brand. The lady who helped me was Hershey and she told me there was a special of $99 on the watches. Well I was sold. No need to haggle or anything because the price was right. I was also looking for some topaz earrings and they tried their best to find the color I was looking for and not trying to sell me on stuff I wasn't looking for.
