Excel painted the house we recently bought. After just TWO years, exterior paint is already…read morebubbling and peeling off. For the light construction work for prep, it was not done properly. Gutters were removed and improperly re-installed, allowing water to bubble between the wood and paint. In some spots where they replaced trim, they used MDF. A compressed cardboard completely unsuitable for outdoor application. As for painting, it would appear like no primer was used or any paint/primer applications occurred in damp conditions as it is starting to peel off. Excel Painting / Excel Property are owned by the same individual(s) and are in the business of buying, flipping and selling houses. Bottom line is they cannot be trusted. I have found numerous instances of poor workmanship and we are now spending tens of thousands of dollars to fix the mistakes on our "new" home. Every contractor we've brought in to fix their mistakes shakes their head in disbelief in the work Excel did. These pictures below are just some of the minor issues, we've already fixed the major ones and failed to capture pictures. Our contractor has them, I may get them from him and upload.

They came in ( 2 guys ) to do the job that was to take between 1 and 3 days were in and out within 8 hours only washed and waxed over the old wax which could have been easily done by maintenance and charged a ridiculous amount of money. People coming into the building knowing what we were having done are shocked at how the floors look considering we had been closed for 3 days, instead of compliments all we here is " I thought they were stripping the floor?" Totally disappointed!! Lesson learned watch the wording and make sure you get what your paying for!!
