If the following statement doesn't convince you to choose KinderCare then I don't know what will: My biggest regret in my son's life so far and maybe mine as well is not enrolling him at KinderCare when he first started preschool at 18 months old. Instead, my son went to another local preschool for two years and we're all still traumatized from that experience (I won't name them here but definitely check out my review on them and avoid them at all costs.) The reason for such a dramatic statement is pretty simple. The staff at KinderCare don't expect perfection and will not make you or your child feel bad for misbehavior. In the two years my son spent at the other preschool we quickly realized he was labeled the "bad kid" everyone wanted out. And at 3 and a half years old when they did effectively disenroll him, my son started at KinderCare and we noticed immediate differences, like him not crying and screaming about going into the classroom and the staff being willing to work with us and a behavior therapist we got a referral for through our insurance. And while he had bad days and was far from perfect, their response to those moments was nothing like at the other place and, most importantly, the teachers and director at KinderCare never made us feel bad or inept as parents. I never dreaded talking to my son's teachers and the director about a rough day like I did at the other place. They never called us demanding our son be picked up early after misbehaving or schedule countless condescending meetings with us about his behavior like the other place did. The difference was truly night and day. There are a few people I'd like to highlight that made my son's 10 months at KinderCare such a blessing and pleasant experience: 1.) Ms. Jenn: I knew from when I first called inquiring about if they have room that Ms. Jenn was a great and compassionate leader. She was willing to accommodate the behavior therapist we hired to help my son with some struggles that were probably exacerbated at the other place and in the rare instances he was sent to her office to cool down it never felt punitive or belittling like it did before. My son clearly loved Ms. Jenn and always went out of his way to say hi or bye to her at pickup/drop off. I'll never forget how she read books with him when he was hesitant at drop off on his second or third day. 2.) Ms. Naira: the perfect combination of firm and loving, my son bonded with her more than any other preschool teacher he's ever had. She was so sweet and good to him and so good about keeping us informed on his progress and working with us and the behavior therapist to help him thrive. She was so patient with him and so giving as well, frequently letting my son take home little gifts from the "mystery box" and such. We could feel that she genuinely loved and cared about our son, and that was a new feeling for us after our prior experience. 3.) Ms. Hannah and Ms. Anya: the other two teachers in my son's class, who he also liked very much. While we mostly dealt with Ms. Naira because of drop off and pickup times, Ms. Hannah and Ms. Anya were also great about working with us to help my son grow and thrive. (I also want to give a special shout-out to my daughter's teachers so far: Ms. Taylor , Ms. Getsemani, Ms. Saray and Ms. Michelle. While her needs aren't as involved as my son's, all of them have taken such great care of her as well.) And now my son is off to TK but we will all miss KinderCare very much and hope to be back for the summers, at least while my daughter is still there. But I mean it when I say that maybe my biggest regret in life is not having KinderCare be our only preschool. It goes without saying I cannot recommend Ms. Jenn and her team enough and hope you will choose them for your childcare/preschool needs. read more

I have to say that this Kindercare is the best one!! my daughter has been going here since she was 3 months old and she is now 6, My boys were enrolled at a different Kindercare and with in a week or 2 of my daughter going here since there was no room for her at the one my boys were going to I switched them all to the Imperial location! I literally drive out of my way just to go to this location and I wouldn't have it any other way!! The whole staff is amazing!! When my daughter started TK then now Kindergarten everyone was impressed by everything she already knew before she even entered school that's how well the are teaching and the structure makes it so much easier for when the do start Tk or Kindergarten they are already prepared for a school setting!! I was a Kindercare kid -- my mom worked for them most of my childhood so I quite literally grew up there. So when it was time for me to go back to work & the kids to go to daycare, I knew I wanted them there. We looked at all of the local centers, & chose this one over KC's that are closer to us because of the staff and the attention to detail that they obviously put into creating and maintaining an environment that is safe & welcoming & healthy for the kids & families. My kids have grown so much, physically and emotionally, and advanced educationally more than we even expected. Jenn, Stacey, & the staff have been incredible, helping us deal with unexpected hurdles with each of our kiddos, accommodating what I'm sure were sometimes odd requests, and helping us find solutions that were right for our kids & family. Jenn and Stacey are always available when we have questions or concerns, & anytime there has been a concern, it's been addressed & resolved quickly. And if something is concerning to them, it's communicated immediately and we deal with it ASAP...no surprises at pick up. The genuine care they have for other people's kids is awesome, & we could not ask for a better group of people taking care of our babies when they can't be with us. Ms. Shanna is fantastic with the learning adventures that have had a huge impact on our kids in all the best ways. Miss Mollie is always so warm & welcoming, even though she hasn't had one of our kids in class for over 2 years. Miss Tanya & Miss Maria make every day exciting for our 4 year old. Ms. Naira is still one of my daughter's favorite teachers ever, and she loves to go give her a big hug and check in with her at the end of the day. Are there less expensive options? Of course. But you get what you pay for, and we wouldn't trade what we have with the Imperial Rose team for anything. They're stuck with us for the long term. read more

My kiddo went to this daycare in February. Generally speaking, the school facility feels crammed with toddlers's mobile feature and needs to run around, they just not enough. Second and the most aspect the school offers CANNED fruit and CANNED salty food to Toddlers(18-36). Most of the meals are fast food or I would consider junk food, I went to observe and saw 2-3 times, they fed kiddos pizza that was salty and hard to chew, sour cream with Canned pear( there is no nutrient in sour cream, simply add it to give flavor which toddlers don't need at all ). Their tuition by that time was 1500$/month. Am I crazy for pay that amount of money for them to feed my kiddo junk food? I wish the school will make some improvement. Overall, there are nicer teachers and their center director Lisa seem to take things seriously. read more

I had went in today for a tour and the director was very unprofessional. She started off speaking on how i was going to pay for the daycare. I had explained that i had no problem paying, i was more concerned with how safe it was going to be for my baby and meet who was going to be watching my child full time. She says that it does matter because its going to be 480 a week. I honestly was confused on where the conversation was going because i haven't even seen the place yet. She goes on to say okay let me show you around and as im looking around she looks at me and says are you okay? I hate to leave negative reviews but this KinderCare location has the worst management I've ever had to deal with as a parent, and this is coming from parents who's 3 kids attend this center for over 10 years.The current director Jen is more concerned about people liking her rather than properly managing a center when my son attended. There are a few teachers there who made my son very uncomfortable to the point where he would cry the minute we would ask how his day was. Miss Shanna would treat my son with such disrespect and had no concern or compassion for children. The values at this center are few to none. When these concerns were brought to the attention of the director Jen it was like she was scared to address her teachers. Not once did the director Jen help to address the issue and assure that my son was being treated fairly. I highly recommend that other parents look into a different daycare that has proper management and has our kids best interests at the top of the priority list. My daughter has attended since she was 6 weeks old and is now in their Pre-K program. The staff is excellent and I do not worry about my child's safety. The teachers send updates and pictures throughout the day. The center Directors are available to speak with at pick-up and drop-off. They have always openly communicated any issues. Out of all the daycares my son had been to, this center has been the best ones we have experienced. My son was only here for only two weeks because covid happened and was sad to find out they were full when we wanted to re-enroll him. The director and assistant director care about the facility and each individual kid. When I used to pick him up, the teachers would give me a bit of a summary of how he did and my son was always enjoying himself. This review is long over due. I can not say enough great things about this Kinder location. When I found myself struggling to find a daycare for my son the search was rough and long. When I came across this place it was God sent! Finding a daycare is one of the most stressful things ever in life. I mean, you are trying to find somewhere to send your precious babies who you can trust will take care of them and love on them as good as you do! Although I can not speak for all classes and teachers I can say that the front office ladies ms Lisa and ms Jen and all the teachers my son had in the toddler class were the kindest and loving ladies! I can not say enough amazing things about this Kindercare. They loved my daughter so well and took great care of her. I definitely did my research of daycares as I am a first-time mom, and every one of her teachers was amazing. I would chose to be friends with many of the staff members. They do really fun activities... even with an infant, and they are super responsive to our needs from (schedule preferences, pacifier rules, bottles, sleep, diapers etc). We had to leave due to a cross-country move, but if I ever have the opportunity to return back to California this is where my kiddo will go! I've been meaning to write this review for awhile. This center is amazing. Jenn and Lisa are truly one of a kind. I found them when I was in a pinch with my son (who was 2.5 at the time). He has ADHD and the journey to get to the diagnosis and the help he needs was not an easy one and Jenn and Lisa never made me feel bad or embarrassed. They offered suggestions. Tried new things for him, they were so willing and amazing. Not many centers would have stuck with us and they never wavered. I cannot say enough about this place. They have been so good to my son since he started attending a year ago. They are knowledgeable, patient, kind, and just perfect for my son. Since the very first day I dropped off my son I knew he would be in good hands. Ms. Missy received him with open arms. Now, a year later, my son is still received in a loving and caring manner each time I drop him off. One of my favorite features of this place is the community feel. Every teacher knows all the kids' names even if they are not their teacher. Also, they take time to design lesson plans that are educational and engaging for the littles. I love seeing pictures and projects in my son's cubby each time I pick him up. We are sad that my son will be leaving Ms. Tina and Ms. Iman's room and move on to the next age class. They have been awesome with my son and I could never thank them enough for that. I look forward to his new class and seeing my son blossom even more with his next teachers. read more

My daughter has been attending this center for months now and I couldn't be happier. Her teacher Ms.Halsi was incredibly patient with her when I first enrolled her and showed an immense amount of patience and compassion towards my nervous little one. Lisa Marie the center's director has always been incredibly helpful and made the process of During this time period my daughter never came home with even a single diaper rash and they helped me potty train her at her own pace. She's now incredibly comfortable and all of the instructors at the center make it a point to know each child by their first name. They're constantly doing fun activities and they always update you with your child's development. I've seen first hand how sweet the instructors are with other children and I would feel very comfortable recommending this center to friends and family. I highly recommend them. read more

I enrolled my child in the infant room for a few months. The staff was friendly however I sometimes felt as though my child was left to self soothe a lot as other children may have required more attention. Most times I would come and my child would have a stuffed caterpillar draped on them. They had not quite mastered rolling over on to their belly yet so I can only imagine how often this happened. I am not at all against self soothing and understand this happening once in awhile as caring for infants can be demanding, maybe I had just missed their time for interaction or feeding or changing, but it became too often for my liking. My main issue is due to security. Inside the main entrance there is a security door requiring code access to get to the side of the building where the kids are. Next to that is the directors office with pass through doors, one door opens to the main entrance area and the other to the children's side. There were a few times when I would drop off and pick up where both doors were open. No one in the main entrance or in the director's office. Granted it was probably only for a minute or two but honestly that's all it takes. Really no reason for signing in or having coded access required when anyone off the street could walk in. Hopefully things have changed since I have been here. read more

I don't have enough words to express how great this facility is and how much my daughter and I love the staff. My daughter, who is now 3, started in oct 2017. She has life threatening food allergies and it was an extremely difficult decision to send her somewhere. I called 47 different preschools. Yes you read that right. From the 47 calls I narrowed it down to 11 schools that I visited. That may sound crazy but when your child's life is at risk you need to be sure that everything is perfect. Out of those 11 places this Kindercare was the clear choice. The director, Lisa, and assistant director Jennifer, are outstanding and very well trained on food allergies. They are also 2 of the kindest/friendliest people you could meet. My daughter started in the 2 year old class and had several great employees taking care of her but formed an immediate connection with Ms. Veronica. She loved her so much that even when she turned 3 and moved to the 3 year old class she still would find her and say good morning and goodbye to her everyday. When she moved to the 3 year old class again she had several awesome employees helping her but now had a special bond with Ms. Stacy. The staff there is very compassionate and understanding and always kept my daughter safe. Furthermore, she loves going and has a blast when she is there. My 8 month old son attended this KinderCare for approximately 2 months in 2016. Although I have great things to say about the director (she was very professional, caring and responsive and took all of my concerns very seriously), I was not too pleased with the infant room daycare workers. From the first week of my son attending this daycare, he begin to get diaper rash constantly. I was concerned that his diapers were not being changed frequently. When I asked the infant daycare worker about it, she that it was "normal" for most babies his age to get diaper rash. Once I enrolled him in a new daycare, his diaper rash did not return. I also felt that my son was not given an adequate amount of attention at KinderCare. He wasn't a high-needs baby that demanded constant holding, but overall, I wasn't very happy with their care. read more

It began with me being a mom first & looking for daycares was so hard, especially as a single mom. Once I put my son here I fell in love with the curriculum and his teachers. He started out in the threes class and he was able to learn and do all sorts of activities, he never wanted to leave! My son is now 6 about to be 7 and still attends This daycare and he loves going. One teacher in particular that I would love to mention is Ms. Naira she took good care of my son and you can genuinely tell she cared about him individually and his unique emotions. She was a strong teacher and to this day still says hi and spends time with him. His Teacher before he entered Kindergarten was Ms. Paola and I couldn't be more pleased with her progress with Him. She had a drive and loved teaching the kids. It was very sad when she changed classes and the kids weren't to happy, but she still made an effort to visit them. This center showed some teachers at there finest. I would definitely recommend this daycare for first time parents. I loved it so much, I also became a teacher in 2017 & I still currently work there. Both of my children attended this Kindercare and I have to say the staff and the school's director are excellent. My eldest son attended last year and his teacher was terrific. He was born with a hearing impairment and our family had a lot of concerns regarding his academics and socialization, but with his teacher's help, he did wonderfully. Our youngest son is currently attending this school and he's doing amazingly well. We always feel so reassured that he's in loving hands. I always say that this center is our second home. The teachers are awesome. Ms. Lisa and Ms. Jen are the best directors ever. They take care of the center and staff very well. Couple of years ago this center was dying with all my fav teachers leaving. Ms. Lisa and Ms. Jen have transformed it into a wonderful magical fairyland. Pros: -Great staff. All so very friendly and caring. - My son seemed to learn a lot. He came home knowing hand signs to numerous nursery songs, even ones I have never thought about. -Not very strict about certain times of drop off or pick up in terms of half days (5 hour days) which was great because with my school schedule his 5 hours was up at 1 but since he would sleep till 2 they would allow him to stay an extra hour rather than wake him up. -Very friendly.....once again Cons (reasons why we left) -Payment was such an issue. We would write and drop off check every 15th of the month to pay until the 15th of next month; paycheck to paycheck. Well sometimes they wouldn't even cash our check weeks AFTER it was due. Made keeping up with finances very difficult especially when you forget about the floating check until it suddenly appears in your bank statement. Made it hard to keep track of when we had to pay or how much. -Wasn't stimulating enough for my son. My son is definitely wiser and physically bigger for his age. Though he was with kids near his age there wasn't much stimulation going on. Singing songs, dancing, art once a week, and playing indoors and outdoors can only be entertaining for so long for him. He's never done well with schedules. -EXPENSIVE!!! We were paying $140/per week for 2 5-hour days. $180/ per week for 2 full days or 3 5-hour days. (We were in the infant class). -We attended here for one year.......my son cried everyday. He would start crying as soon as we walked out the front door of the house when he knew it was a "school" day. Though the crying sessions got shorter (down to about 60 seconds) before we left my mother instinct told me that he was just NOT happy here and I needed to pull him out. All in all its a great facility and if you could afford it then do it. Yet I am a firm believer of listening to my child's cues and a year of continuous crying and fighting every time we went was just a huge deal breaker for us. read more

A child was found in the street by a passing stranger after getting out of Kindercare during the school day. The business is supposed to alert all parents to this licensing violation. KinderCare is a franchise of big business daycare centers. Your child is not going to receive individual care or attention in an assembly line of kids. Just because it has a big playground and costs a lot, does not mean it is the best place for your child to be. Please take the time as a parent to visit several schools, centers, home daycares and meet nannies, instead of simply placing your child in the daycare nearest your home. read more

Being a first time mom, when it came time to put my daughter in daycare I was very worried. It took me months to be able to find one that I felt comfortable with leaving my child at. When we went on the tour, everyone was very welcoming. As I spoke to the manager they allowed my daughter to go outside and play. They welcomed her right in the group. All the teachers that were outside were alert and interacted with all the children. My boyfriend also works in the area and has popped in on different times to see what our daughter was doing, how her day was going, and just to check on things. My daughter has just finished her first month and I can say I have had no issues at all. My daughter is still happier than ever, talking a lot more, and learning. My son love this place. He doesn't cry as much in the morning like he did with his previous daycare. All the teachers are so nice and happy all the time. Everytime I go in to pick up my son he is doing some kind of fun activity. My son also has to take beating treatments for his asthma and they do a pretty good job giving him his treatments. This Center is even better now than when we started here. We have been taking our kids here for two years now. Even though they have grown so much, they still attend to every child and family. I love all the teachers...they are so welcoming and enjoy what they do. Additional classes like cooking and phonics have been offered which allows my children to experience different kinds of learning they may not be able to at other care centers, and they always have wonderful activities during the summer program. I do not recommend this location. My daughter was there for a short amount of time and I felt that her teachers were there physically but not mentally. When I would go in to drop my daughter off, the teacher greeted both us of with smile and warmth, but the minute the door closed and I peeked into the window, the teacher literally took my daughter's stuffed animal out of her hands and threw it down where all the other kids would crawl and play with it while my daughter was given her breakfast. I could not believe it! Another event where I peeked into the window of the classroom, I saw my daughter crying and putting her hands up to be held, the teacher SHRUGGED her leg as if she was annoyed. That teacher was carrying another child at that time but her reaction was not okay!! Throughout her 3 months there, she was literally sick the entire time. I know kids get sick when they are in daycare, but my daughter is now in montessori school and she has only gotten sick once in a 5 month period so that suggests the cleanliness of this place. One positive note I will mention is that the director/assistant director kept me posted about my daughter's progression the first week of school so that I wouldn't be as worried, but I was really not pleased with the teachers there. read more
