This company works on a fee for every load, a unique business model in the moving industry where most of the providers charge by the weight or on an hourly basis. + They arrived on time with a four-man crew. It was pouring but they took extra care with our furniture, which included some extraordinary pieces. + They worked fast. This was a difficult move because the weather and the difficult staircase but they made it look easy. Virtually no damage to to the house we were leaving or the condo. I was disappointed with my experience…read more I paid an additional $40 for a lift gate to be installed on my fence, but it was never installed. Matt told me he would come back to complete the work, but despite multiple text messages from my husband and me, as well as an email regarding an invoice discrepancy ($500 listed instead of the $540 I paid), the issue was never resolved. There were also other problems with the work. Tile around my bathtub was removed to inspect a faucet and was never put back, and one of the fence pickets that was repaired has already fallen off. Before leaving this review, I contacted the business through Yelp to give them one final opportunity to address these issues. Unfortunately, I never received a response. I understand that mistakes can happen, but what disappointed me most was the lack of follow-through and communication. I simply wanted the work I paid for to be completed or the $40 refunded, but neither happened. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business.
