I was a bit concerned since I wasn't greeted by any server upon arrival. I went up to the cook (owner?) and asked if I could sit anywhere. I got a positive response. The first few pages of the menu are in Dutch and items are priced between 16 euros and 20 euros for a regular entree. The last page of the menu is in English. My friend and I got the following items: Br kruidenboter (€3.75): bread and butter. Simply amazing. It came with garlic butter, pâté spread, and cream cheese. I couldn't stop eating. Me gusta mucho. Uiensoep (€5.75): french onion soup. Definitely one of the better french onion soup out there. More, por favor. Escargots kruidenboter (€7.50): snail meat in garlic butter. It was surprisingly delicious. Kip sate (€16.75): traditional Dutch-Indonesian food. This was definitely the highlight of my meal. It came with salad and relatively thick-cut fries.
