Deliver super late, holding me up when I had additional bday plans. It was supposed to come by 12 noon and instead I got them at 6:30 pm. I left before they came bc I didn't know what I was being surprised with until the delivery. 2. No balloons, chocolates, or wine!! Why did you accept the order if you could only complete 25% of it? We should have gotten a full refund. Not only was the sympathy arrangement I ordered not delivered, but the local floral shop who partnered with Ava's flowers claimed they attempted to deliver to the mortuary, and no one was there. A mortuary that was open till 9pm and was waiting for my delivery. Really? I call BS on that excuse. There is always someone at a mortuary to assist. Four different orders were placed with Avas for my sister's funeral. Two arrangements showed up ,two were lost.I was guaranteed by the Avas customer representative that flowers would be delivered to the funeral home in Orlando before her service. The funeral director even called from the cemetery to find out if they had been delivered later. No flowers.My last gift to my sister and I couldn't even give it to her. Avas wanted to send me the flowers just so they didn't have to refund my money. I would not order flowers from Avas ever again. read more

Like the many other patrons on this list, I thought that I was conducting business with a florist named Ava's Flowers. I ordered my mother flowers for Mother's Day 2023 on the Thursday prior to the Sunday holiday. They never arrived. Over the course of a week, I conducted 5 phonecalls, waiting on hold extensively and wasting a total of approximately 4 hours; I heard the phrase "I apologize for the wait," from a robotic and disengaged call center rep too many times to count; and I was promised, "an upgraded order and a discount" after I was told they attempted delivery and called (which was verified as false through phone records and cameras). In short, my mother was left feeling forgotten with Ava's employing stealth avoidance tactics and dodging me through an overseas call taker. I'm not sure what their game is, but abandoning senior citizens seems like a cruel and senseless business model. Never do business with Ava's -- if you're local to The Villages (I'm not) then perhaps you can check into what is actually going on here. read more

Finally got someone on the phone who apologized and confirmed that there had been a communication drop on their end when the product I had ordered was not available. Received flowers Saturday afternoon before mothers day. Flowers were already dried out and half dead. Called In Full Bloom and was told they would bring another bouquet on Monday. Waited all day calling them several times to no answer. Went to business just before it closed to inquire about the bouquet. Women inside business said didn t you bring back the Vase. She did not say sorry about the dead flowers or for not delivering the new Bouquet after we we said we would. We did get another arrangement that was nice but would never do business with them again. I ordered an arrangement for my mother-in-law through From You Flowers (wire service). I chose the delivery date for 5/7/15. The flowers were not delivered by 5/8/15! I emailed From You Flowers and they called the florist, In Full Bloom, and their excuse was a glitch. From You Flowers said the florist would upgrade the arrangement and deliver it on Mothers day. You guessed it!! No arrangement on Mothers day or the day after! I contacted From You Flowers Again. Their rep called and wanted to know if I still wanted the flowers delivered..smh at this point...of course I did! The flowers were finally delivered on Tuesday, 5 days LATE and less than expected. I had the same experience as most others here. I ordered a very expensive bouquet through FTD to be delivered to my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary, on that specific date. I placed the order 2 weeks in advance. "In Full Bloom" turned out to be the chosen local vendor. The flowers never arrived. Only after 2 different calls to FTD customer service were they finally delivered, a full day late. To be fair, when they WERE delivered, the flowers were very nice and FTD had made the vendor ("In Full Bloom") add a "free upgrade" - in this case, a very small box of Godiva chocolate. But they obviously have a MAJOR problem with on-time delivery at this place. I wouldn't use them (or FTD) again. read more

Do not use Ava's flowers. I sent a bouquet of flowers and ordered Mylar balloons for mother's day for my mother in law. The flowers looked like a $4 bouquet from grocery store in a cheap glass vase. I spent $94. She never received the balloons. I called twice and was left on hold and finally giving up. I sent 7 emails with a picture of the ordered bouquet and the sent bouquet. Sent flowers to my mother in hospital and they looked nothing like what I ordered through FTD. First I called FTD to complain and they said they talked to the florist at In Full Bloom directly that said it looked just like the picture. Then I called florist directly and they blamed the size of the vase they get from FTD for why they had to substitute flowers and the vase itself- so obviously it wasn't just like the picture. They said the size of the arrangements FTD promises is deceiving for the money they get for the arrangement....so I guess you apparently can't get what you order through them. AWFUL! I had a very similar experience to others. I ordered flowers for Mother's Day to be delivered on the Friday before so my MIL could enjoy them throughout the weekend. They were not delivered until after 9pm on Mother's Day! The arrangement looked like something purchased at a grocery store and plopped in a vase...definitely not professionally arranged and not what I ordered. I called many times throughout the weekend and the store number was forwarded to a cell phone number with a full voicemail box. Very frustrating. Someone finally answered the Monday after Mother's Day and said she would process a refund. Here we are, a week later, no refund and no answer when I call. This place is a scam - not even affiliated with FTD.com - I called FTD.com to complain and they had no record of our order as the order number is not in their format! They could not help us and apologized. DO NOT order online as this is how we ended up doing business with In Full Bloom, they are falsely advertising FTD with the logo on their website. We did not receive our flower arrangement until 3 days late(not what we ordered and not worth the $90) and after threatening them verbally with local law enforcement. I filed a complaint with our local bank and am also filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Office consumer protection division. I encourage other to do the same. read more

This is not a business I would recommend to anyone. I would suggest you avoid dealing with this company and make sure you tell everyone you know. The flowers that were delivered to my home also came with a box of chocolates. The flowers were already brown at the edges when they arrived and lasted for 3 days and then had to be thrown out as they were unsightly. When we opened the box of chocolates the day of the delivery, it was obvious that the candy had melted at some point, and most of the chocolates had imploded and had turned white due to excessive heat. Needless to say, they were inedible. We did text this company about the issue and sent a picture to them right after the delivery. They agreed that the candy looked "horrible" and that they would be fixing the issue the next day. After several texts, a full mailbox, and no response from this company several times during the following week, I sent an email to them indicating that they needed to credit the person who paid for the "gift" and that I would never use nor recommend this company to anyone. Placed a Mothers Day order this morning for Mothers Day tomorrow. I had a choice of other florists who said if placed by 12 noon today they would deliver. I placed it 10am with these people online - it specifically states "Days for which delivery is unavailable do not appear.". May 12, 2013 appeared and it let me choose it and I have a confirmation email to prove it. None the less, I figured let me call and confirm at around 2:30pm. The owner was very rude to me saying its too late and that they dont control the website. I told them that I couldve placed an order with other companies but now its too late and I don't know how the website is ran but thats not my issue. Where then she just hung up on me. I called back 2-3 times and she picked and hung up without saying a word. I am filing a BBB complaint to get my money back since it has already been deducted. What an awful experience I have had with In Full Bloom! I live out of state and wanted to send flowers to my grandma who lives in The Villages. I mistakingly ordered with In Full Bloom which actually does the orders through FTD. The day I ordered the flowers FTD charged my credit card. The day the flowers were delivered Ana Lo charged my credit card as well. I called her that day and she said she would work it out with FTD and call me back. She never did so I called her back the next day and she said she had gone ahead and reversed her charge. Two weeks later I still haven't received my refund. I have called her multiple of times and left messages and she does not return my calls. To top it all off my grandma sent me a picture of the flowers she received. Let me tell you how awful they were. They were cheap looking and looked nothing like the picture of the flowers I had ordered. The vase wasn't even the same. She says on her website she has a guarantee. I have yet to hear from her so we will see if she stands by her guarantee. Placed an order for Mothers Day online and received a confirmation email that the order would be delivered to my mom on Friday (never delivered). I tried calling on and off on Saturday and Sunday to see if there was an issue, no answer. The flowers were finally delivered the Tuesday night after Mothers Day and they were half dead. My mother went over to the shop on Thursday to complain and request a refund on my behalf. Owner placed blame on me, for not calling and for the website not sending the order over to her until Monday. She would not accept one ounce of responsibility and refused to refund, but made up a new arrangement that my mother had to pick up herself. To top it off, they were still making up arrangements for Mother's Day deliveries while my mom was there, four days after the fact. A good business would be calling these poor people and asking them if they still want the flowers or not. Extremely poor customer service, unethical and unprofessional. THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE EVER! I placed my Mothers Day order May 4th so my order would be there by Mothers day. They sent the wrong plant of a lesser value than I paid on Thursday. I called and emailed a picture of the plant, and after being given the run around through the service that they use and 40 mins later after being on hold they agreed it was wrong and would redeliver. After numerous calls and grief they kept promising they would deliver. Nothing on Mothers day. I called and emailed again and they said would be delivered Tuesday, still nothing. At this point I am demanding my money back because didn't even want to see the plant and be reminded what a pain in the butt this was. They said that we could keep the plant they gave us for our grief and deliver the plant I ordered on Wednesday plus send a $20 voucher for next purchase which I would never do. Wednesday no delivery. A week after Mothers day. The actual flower shop who was listed under AVA's Flowers was actually called In Full Bloom. If you tried to call the number it was a robotic message and voice box was full. My Mother in law found the physical address and went there and the place was a dive and run down. The lady inside had numerous arrangements that was scattered everywhere and still not delivered. Instead of the Lady looking up my order she just exchanged the plant for a fern instead of the Peace Lily floor plant I ordered. I am going to report them to Better Business Bureau. THe problem is I thought I was dealing with the florist to begin with and didn't realize the setup was a FTD or like service.
