We traveled from New York to Georgia for a wedding and this is where it was. This place is amazing (a photographer's dream). The grounds are incredibly beautiful with an open air chapel next to a lake. Breathtaking views abound here. The reception was held up near the entrance and it was a great space (and we all loved the outdoor fireplace; everyone crowded around it on a cool evening) The staff was very professional and very friendly. Absolutely amazing venue for a wedding. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding here and can honesty say the staff is phenomenal and extremely accommodating. The venue itself is breathtaking and well taken care of. The wedding was beautiful even though we had rain and storms they made sure everything worked out and the wedding itself was able to happen in the sunshine. The reception was just like planned and the entire night went just about flawlessly. There's a bridal suite for the girls to get ready, the groomsmen have their own area and a salt water pool to enjoy. They also have a honeymoon cabin on site for the couple to stay in after the wedding. I highly recommend this venue! The vendors and everything else were great! read more

Being a guest at a recent, this will be a somewhat limited view of this establishment. The service that we received from the very beginning was excellent. From first entering the property to when we departed, almost every need for the wedding ceremony that I attended was cared for. Shuttles to and from the ceremony site, and signage to find the way around the property was a good touch. The only complaints that I heard or have myself was a lot if waiting. It seemed the ceremony and reception were not very well managed time wise. This could have been due to issues with the wedding party themselves, but many of the none ceremony party guests were left to guess what was going to come next and what all of us were suppose to do next. The venue was great and very well maintained, I would reccomend checking this venue as an option for any small to medium size wedding that a couple may be planning. read more
