This is one cluttered charity shop: books to the ceiling, magazines on the floor, hardly enough…read morespace to get past the clothing rails, but lacking the pretensions to style that have made other charity shops overprice their items. It is certainly a place to find a bargain, and the amount of good make it a treasure trove for almost retro-hip sundries. It still has those odd mementos that people bring back from European holidays, plates and ornaments, as well as things that defy description. The staff, unsurprisingly, are lovely, but service can be a bit slow. It feels like a battle to get to the counter sometimes!

Milly is in a huff with us for days when she comes home as Sam and her family spoil her rotten. I know milly is in safe hands and is cared for. Sam is a genuine dog lover and this shows when sam picks her up, and milly is always glad to see her. Sam also sends regular texts on how your pet is and will pick your dog up for free if your within 3 miles. The dogs are walked regulary and have fun. Like i say, milly looks forward to staying with sam and her family and we treat it as a wee holiday for her. Sam keeps your pet in her own home and not in a miserable concrete kennel. i will recommend sam to anyone looking to have their dog walked and or boarded. im glad I found her,and so is milly ;)

Its so strange how it closes down and reopens a few months later, only to close again a month later then reopen again. God knows why. I've always thought it would do quite well as it is the only one of it's kind in Motherwell. As well as budgies, different species of fish, hamsters and rats, the shop also sells small lizards, snakes and spiders, which is quite exotic for humble Motherwell. They aren't that expensive either. This wee shop also sells the usual stuff like cages, food, filters for tanks, dog leads and beds. Decent enough, and if you get the man who owns it then he knows his pets. He'll answer any questions you have. Just hurry up before it closes down again!

They sell equipment, supplies and tanks as well as fish, food, plants and coral. I keep fresh water tropical fish and that's quite complicated enough for me, but I can't help but lust over the beauty of the marine tanks they have on show. Maybe one day I'll have a go. In the meantime they have plenty to keep the fresh water aquarium keeper quite happy. Good, healthy stocks of a wide variety of fish as well as everything you could want or need to keep your tank at its best and healthiest. The prices are maybe just slightly steep but I'm inclined to believe that that's a reflection of the quality of the products.

Took my dog up to Woodhall Kennels today as i had booked him in for a couple of days as my other…read moredog is in season. Dropped him off with no issues as i have used them before in the past, gets a call 15 minutes later asking me to come back up and get him as he had a pinch collar on, which they couldn't get off, and we don't want him in our kennels. Now those that have knowledge of dogs and understand what this collar is would know that they do less harm than a normal choke chain. Going by other complaints about these kennels I surely will NOT be using them again as i would rather leave my beloved pets with someone that knows what they are doing. A very irate ex customer.

(they say dogs can sense things so he obviously knew he was in good hands) Lisa updated us with how he was doing both through messages and photos which was great! Spike was well looked after and came out fresh and clean as he had been bathed aswell which was 1 less job for me when I got him home. Would definitely recommend woodhall kennels 5*. I wouldn't know though, I'm far too much in a daze from just how cute the animals are OMGZDIDUSEEHOWTHATMOUSERUBBEDITSNOSE!!! Ahem. Well, Pets-cetera is no exception - it's chock a block full of the fluffiest rabbits, the squeakiest guinea pigs and a bunch of cheery little birds. It also stocks a good range of small animal feeds and treats, and even he biggest simpering animal loving idiot like myself can find a unique treat to entertain themselves and torture their pets with - like dog accesories and outfits. Even though this is on the small side, the space is managed well and it has a wide range of stock. Ranging from a good selection of animals themselves as well as all the food, treaties and paraphernalia you could ever require/seek to find. The few occasions in which I have been in the staff have always been friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Since discussing pet shops with other people (and I have a friend or ten who currently own pets...), they have ALL been super positive about this shop too.
