So you have to go into the bank - it's 2022, who goes into the bank to perform a basic transaction? It's such a timesuck. They're nice enough in the bank, but the whole thing is ridiculous. If the website would just work, and someone would answer the phone when you call (or return messages), it'd be so much easier. I just want to share my journey to getting online access to *my money*. - tried online; said I needed to reset my password, but no link arrived - called the branch; given another phone number; no answer at that number; left a message; no return call - went into a branch; told my online account no longer active, but that I could open a new one online - tried to open a new online account; system says that an account with that email already exists; when I try to get the password, I get an error message - I call the branch again; given another phone number - I call that phone number; the person asks me for a bunch of information, then gives me my login and a temporary password (totally contradicting the information from the guy at the branch yesterday, but ok)

This was one of the most frustrating lending experiences I've had. I applied for a loan and the…read moreprocess dragged on for weeks with very little communication. I constantly had to follow up just to find out what documents were still needed. Specifically the underwriter Roxanne was untruthful and would not answer my calls. Avoid working with dishonest employees like her at all costs. As rates started going up, their responsiveness dropped off significantly--especially once I was locked into a lower rate. After weeks of delays (during which rates increased by about 0.5%), they eventually stopped responding to me altogether. I left multiple voicemails and couldn't get a callback. It wasn't until I called from a different phone number that someone finally answered, only to tell me my loan had been denied--with no prior notice or explanation. When I pushed for details, I found out the issue was due to the loan officer failing to include part of my income in the application. Overall, this process wasted over a month of my time, cost me a better rate, and involved repeated follow-ups with little to no accountability. They promote competitive rates, but in my experience, they did not deliver.

He is especially good with those who are well-qualified but for one reason or another don't fit into the "cookie-cutter" profile sought by Fannie Mae lenders, i.e. self-employed, multiple borrowers, or investor loans. The worst loan professionals will promise you the moon, then fail to deliver after they've secured your business. Dorian's practice is different-- he'll underpromise and overdeliver instead of the other way around. If the loan is possible, he'll get it done. If he can't do the loan, odds are excellent that no one else can either. I have also frequently used Dorian for my personal mortgage needs. He's refinanced several times for me and always gotten me a great rate.
