Note: this is not the right place if you are soft and discipline is not a priority or if you are just looking for something to do without commitment. Classes are held 3 nights per week ( Mon- Wed) 6 pm beginners and intermediate, and 7 pm is advanced. Weapons class is also offered in the dojo on Thursdays. The drop in fee was only 5$! As a tourist on a budget vacation, this was the perfect spot for me to drop in and get my workout done when my schedule allowed. The heavy bag is pretty old - but you can't beat the relaxed attitude! I've never seen so many women comfortable in the weight-lifting area of a gym before - definitely female friendly, and nice staff! I went almost every day for a week, and would recommend this place to any other vacationers who need a fast spot to get their work in.
