This is the MOST WONDERFUL store to visit! There is a large selection of beautiful AUTHENTIC handmade items made by Native artisans. I purchased Navajo coral earrings and my partner purchased a Zuni ring. Cody Yellowhorse is wonderfully informative about the pieces and the traditions behind them. He also mentioned that they can repair items as well. If you appreciate native culture and heritage, be sure to visit this shop and ONLY purchase directly from native artisans! THANK YOU!

This is a beautiful shop with so much to offer. I love the decor, the culture, and the history within its walls. I did a cross-country road trip, and I stopped at many Navajo shops along the way... and it just so happened that I stopped in many of the Yellowhorse family Indian shops. I became more and more intrigued and felt so much love for this culture with each stop I made. I learned bits and pieces from one shop to the next about rituals, the meanings behind things, etc. Listening to these stories is exactly what brought me to start collecting juniper seed (ghost beads) bracelets. Their jewelry is supposed to ward off bad spirits, nightmares, and help protect you. It was such a pleasure meeting Cody Yellowhorse, and learning more about their Navajo history! If you're ever in the area, I implore you to stop at this gift shop! This shop is filled with beautiful AUTHENTIC locally made jewelry, decor, and souvenirs. P.S. You should stray from those "Indian gift shops" by the gas stations....everything is made in China, India, Indonesia, etc..

Entrance plenty of parking lots to see and rich in history

This was a fun stop. Yes, a bit expensive but nice. The ladies were sweet and helpful. There was a huge selection of jewelry and much more!

Many things made in Pakistan. Pottery seems expensive at $198 for something the size of my hand.

Ok like I always say people you got to get outside and enjoy life!…read more This totally unique store is located on the Zuni Indian reservation a very proud people of the mesa's of North Eastern NM"s desert. If you know history you will know who the Zuni Indians are, the history and UFOS! Anyways my travels had taken me to this trading post to look for some treasure for my Girls back home. We drove for a bit until we found this store off the highway. This is no mall OK its a building with no frills. Anyways if your looking for any type of treasures made by real Indians not Hindus from India OK real American Indians. This is as real as it gets, also when you visit these reservations the people are very proud so don't act like a honky! be respectful. The place has about the widest selection of gifts and art work like pottery, jewelery of all types, hand painted dolls, just a nice place to look around and press your nose to the glass and get your shopping groove on! and get this the place is owned by a real cool guy named Mohammad Safieh and I'm not pulling your leg its totally true, is that something else or what people. The guy will offer you a cool drink, take it, the temps get above 100 so as always drink lots of fluids. Anyways when in Zuni for a ride or drive please stop in and ask for Mohammad! if your looking for some high quality Indian art. I say Check them out!

very friendly atmosphere & the best prices around!! Mohammad is easy going & you feel like friends…read moreafter your first visit! Great Zuni jewelry & Kachina's. A very extensive fetish collection to choose from. Always a favorite when I am in New Mexico. Easy to find and ample parking out front. Located in Zuni Pueblo so you even get to meet some of the artists when they stop by to see the owner.
