I was having major shoulder problems-my left arm would just drop like I'd had a stroke, lots of pain in the front left shoulder. I spent 1.5 years with 2 different local shoulder doctors, MRI's, MRI's w/ dye contrast, X-Rays, weeks and weeks w/ PT, more weeks w/ a Pain Mgmt Clinic, 3 shots of cortisone...still in horrible pain and unpredictable weakness and dropping of my left arm. I couldn't even lift my arm above shoulder height without pain. Finally I went for a massage w/ Carol, massage therapist in Dr. Szekley's office. He looked at my X-Rays and MRI's for about 2 seconds each film. I was getting sarcastic that he wasn't taking my situation seriously. He said, "I don't think it's your shoulder, I think it's your neck." I had plenty of neck movement with no pain and just about lost it with my frustration. He told me very specifically that all of my symptoms pointed to neck issues, specifically between the 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae, probably with a bone spur. I was thinking after all this time w/ shoulder specialists-why did he think he could diagnose....as if reading my mind, he said, "for $10.00 I'll X-ray your neck right now and you'll know for sure." I said, "For $10.00 you're on!" Sure enough-in a few minutes, the X-Ray was done and there it was- a V-shaped space between the 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae and bone spur pinching a nerve. My neck was very straight-no curve to it. He has a neck-correcting device in his office that helps to correct the curve of your neck. Bingo-in less than a year-all pain and weakness was gone. By recreating the neck curve, the pinching of the nerve was gone. I'm back to working out with weights 5x weekly. Now I go to Dr Andy for treatments for my lower back. I injured my back in 4 places when still in my 20's. I need periodic treatments every few weeks to keep it stable, but I'm back to doing things I couldn't do in my late 20's. I'm now 66! One happy camper!

I was delighted with the results of the first two visits and couldn't believe how lifted I looked and tight I felt in my cheeks. The third visit however created "marionette" lines from the edge of my left lip down to my chin. The clinical director told me to come back and she would "correct" it. The fourth visit left me with sagging eyelids, sagging jowls and "marionette" lines from both sides of my lips. After expressing to the clinician how uncomfortable with the unattractive results, she said "I'm sorry" and told me I should stop facial accupuncture to go see my dermatologist .

Bobbie and Diane are gems at the front desk and are always delightful. Lynn and Rich are always in and out of their Massage rooms and always super friendly. Dr. Mike is one of a kind, I utilized his skill with a work injury and was stunned at how quickly I responded to his treatment. He is not your typical chiropractor who uses the usual heating pads and stem.... he connects with you and really knows what your body needs. Lynn was one of the first massage therapist I used and my god she is amazing, she is probably one of the best I had when it comes to deep tissue massage technique. She is a master and sweet as pie to boot! Rich is also a very skillful man at massage therapy, he uses his abilities and like Mike really connects with your body and it's needs. Rich partners with his bamboo sticks and hot rocks and really gets to the root of what the body needs.
