So I thought they would bill insurance for whole bill and I would have a credit. No, I just threw away $40. Then B/P meds Dr. Elassal put me on had such a bad HA side effect I couldn't take anymore. Called office on Monday, no answer, called Tuesday and told staff thinking I would get a call back. Nope. Wednesday was my surgery and Dr. Elassal said he would check on me in hospital so I thought I would tell him then. Did he come. Nope. My B/P is still high so my surgeon set me up with IU Doctor. Thank goodness. Now I can cancel my appt with them. I was given bad reviews from many about them but the sad part is they are the only Kidney specialist in Richmond.

Eventually I found a doctor I liked at this location & stayed vs switching to another office to avoid the hassle. Yesterday after my conversation with the billing department I'll never go back. I owe $62.00 & the First Lady I spoke to refused to let me set up an appointment. Threatened me with collections & said she'd didn't care if I went elsewhere. I spoke to her supervisor & I will say she tried but the damage is done. Yes, I owe a balance. I am wrong for that. I've also hit hard times. I am still a human being. Look elsewhere for an office where you're not just patient xyz. One that isn't going to refuse you service over $62.00. The $62.00 was more important to Indiana Internal medicine than my health.

Office Manager Lori Odle scheduled a job with us to pick up filing cabinets. We provide a free…read morecurbside service. Upon arrival, the items were all located on the 2nd floor and would need to be removed from inside the building. We negotiated a price of $350 to remove 17 units and dispatched a second team member and truck. During the removal process, Ms. Odle asked to add 3 additional items--exam beds--and was quoted an additional $100. Upon completion, she stated that she did not have enough cash and would need to pay by credit card. She was sent an invoice. Generally, we do not provide service without payment, but since it was a medical office, we made an exception. Hours later, we followed up because the invoice had not been paid. She stated she was unable to open it. We suggested she try another device (if she attempted on her phone, try a desktop, or vice versa). We then sent a second invoice via PayPal to ensure there were no issues. The next day, payment still had not been rendered, so we reached out via phone and text--no reply. An email was then sent and was also ignored. We eventually received an email from Mia Bae in Accounts Receivable stating they would not be paying and disputing the charges. This isn't just despicable--it is essentially theft from a small business. Ms. Odle has been hiding since. Two guys, 9 hours of labor with travel time. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Anyone who allows an office manager to behave this way and then protects them is scum.

When I go in for an appointment on Naab Rd the gal at the front desk is always on her cell phone…read moreand doesn't even put it down and is still on it when she brings my insurance cards back to me. That's just rude. Let me be clear, everyone else is great!! The elevator has been out for months and I have to go clear to the back of the building for the other elevator. With diminished mobility, this is difficult for me as well as many others, I'm sure. The whole building could stand a good cleaning and updating!
