DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOURE ABLE TO BYPASS CYBIL. I called and didn't expect an answer at 7AM but she answered the phone. She asked if this was an emergency as she has a woman in Ohio "already up". I explained to her that I am in a time crunch today with multiple things going on so if it's in the next 15 minutes I can, if not it'll be after 9. She said I don't mean to be bitchy. it's 7am and I just sat down with a cup of coffee and don't feel like scrambling. Rude! She then hung up on me. I called back and she took a really long time to answer the phone then said she didn't hang up on me. Why did you take so long to answer the phone then? I advised her that she really shouldn't be answering the phone if she's not ready to help people and it was very unprofessional of her to say that to a customer especially as the owner. Why answer the phone if you're not truly prepared to provide a service that you say on your site and on the phone. Clients should not have to jump through hoops to get assistance/guidance especially when they're seeking it for themselves and are probably in a more vulnerable state to begin with. Indigo Alliance is a magical little shop in Chinatown home to a variety of wonderful items and practices my mom would consider "works of the devil." She doesn't know about my tarot decks. Or my crystal collection. Or my oracle cards. Yet. But I digress. My daughter and I stepped in for a fifteen-minute oracle card reading for $30 and the woman was nice enough to squeeze in a short read for each of us. Initially, I found it very underwhelming. The reader had a cold and just read the word-for-word definitions from the Angel Answers book. I left feeling "meh" about it but then, oh Lordie, it ALL came true. Especially my daughter's reading, which was fabulously positive. Manifested an amazing voice/guitar teacher, won lottery tickets to Rent, got accepted for a special program and won a ukulele. I am a believer and now own several oracle decks of my own. Our second visit was for a group medium reading by Psychic Greg Stanley and it was AMAZING. My gf and I were both blown away, he had some great tarot messages for us (no one dead visited us, but we were not really expecting anyone) and it was such a treat and honor to hear the messages coming through for the other attendees. We took advantage of our visit to pick up a few tumbled stones to add to our collection. YAY for that. If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these sessions, jump on it! And an even bigger YAY, I was able to secure a free 30-minute tarot reading by the amazing Morgan Max and that was exquisite. He had the greatest energy, read me like a book, and I am very excited for the future. "Correct me if I am wrong, but are you someone who thinks they need to learn EVERYTHING before you can do something?" Uh, yes. Yes I am. So thankful for our interaction, for his and Indigo's generosity, and would absolutely recommend scheduling with him for tarot and astrology as he is a beautiful and gifted human. I think they may have a special until April 19th. Five stars, hands down. Super cute shop with the friendliest employees. I went there looking for a tarot deck and they let me play around with a couple different ones til I found a deck that felt right. Afterwards they even let me hang out at the counter to practice and just get a feel for my new deck. I ended up staying there just chatting with Veronica and some other employees for like 2 hours!!! Called Indigo at 12pm to schedule a reading and not only was Sibil incredibly friendly they were able to get me in immediately. Upon arrival Sibil and Joy greeted me with smiling faces and great energy. Joy gave me my reading. Joy was very attentive and genuinely cared about helping me find answers and direction during my reading. I had a very underwhelming reading with Peggy. I did not want to embarrass or disrespect her, but as someone who regularly practices metaphysics and understands the modalities, I did not feel as though I received an adequate reading. Psychic abilities run through generations of my family, so when someone cannot read me well (which has happened in the past) they apologize and refund me. I have had readings previously and wanted to give Indigo a try because I have heard such nice things about the business. I specifically asked for Peggy because my friend had a great reading with her. I received no clarity from the reading. Red flag one: Anyone who asks for my birthday is only going to use astrology to try and figure me out. Red flag two: she wanted me to do most of the talking, and when I didn't she would continue giving unsolicited advice that didn't involve the reading whatsoever, which was eating up my 30 minutes. This is what people who can't read someone tends to do. She also would pose questions to try and see if she was going in the right direction and at a certain point I was so embarrassed by her failure to read me that I just kept answering "maybe?" I'm starting to think Sybil, the owner, cares more about her profit than helping others. Red flag three: I have gotten a reading previously and at the 30 minute mark with no warning she busts into the room and tells Chi (the psychic) that my time is up. To me, that is extremely unprofessional. At least let her finish the card spread before you mess the energy up! I wish I had gotten my money back. Never again. read more

My new favorite place to go on oahu! What a treat it was to come across this little secret nestled in the heart of Chinatown! From the moment you walk into Indigo you feel able to exhale. Truly nothing but good energy. I felt very heavy as if I were being pulled down by negative energy that clung to me and went out on a mission to find the things needed to make a smudge bundle. The universe led me here. The owner and staff are all beautiful, kind souls who want to genuinely help people. I was able to purchase for a very reasonable price a smudge kit! Lets just say I feel sooo much better. I went back the next day and purchased some candles, for myself and my hanai daughter. While there this time we were fortunate enough to meet and have a wonderful conversation with the owner and founder. I look forward to becoming a regular here and encourage you all to give them a shot. I can promise you will feel lighter leaving then you did going in.
