It's all fake. I bought $3000 coral and Turquoise newer a year ago in that store a year ago. I asked the owner whether it is real coral and he swore that it's all real. He even taught me the ways to identify if it's a real coral. But after I went back home, we tested it in a lab, it's all fake!!!!! I'm furious about the store and the owner. USE CAUTION! I bought a pretty pearl ring from this shop. After wearing it twice (less than 8 hours) the silver on the ring started to chip off (no joke). I am so disappointed and the ring is ruined. The guy also was rude by pestering me why I didn't buy a pricey necklace that I tried on and put back. I was ripped off in many ways. I was there on Sunday. I purchased 2 rings, one didn't have a price and the owner said it was $30. The other was $32. I didn't look at my credit card receipt until I got home and I was charged $75. By Tuesday 3 stones had fallen out of one of my rings and both ring bands have changed colors. I have bought other costume jewelry at the same price point that has held up for years. My niece and friend were with me. After I made my purchase, he gave them a 50% discount on the rings they purchased from the same display. It seemed to be pretty unethical to charge me $10 more than discusses and then to charge others 1/2 of what I just paid in front of my face and then there's the poor quality of the jewelry. I bought a bracelet last week and it's already disengaged from the clasp and I've called and left message but no return call.

My husband purchased a beach coverup this week for me. He was told it could be returned if needed. I went in 2 days later and the owner was loud and rude and said only exchanges.When I said He never told that to my husband on this 250.00 purchase. I was then showed a very small framed picture sign in corner by counter. When I explained I was here on vacation and did not need or want any other merchandise at this time and could he just make exception he proceeded to call my husband and I both liars. This is the worst treatment I have ever encountered from a retailer. I am sure that this is his usual behavior because of all the negative posts and comments I have read. read more

The owner has the worst customer service that I have ever seen in ANY business. One of our party picked up a necklace to look at it and was greeted with a, what are you doing. Beautiful silk embroidered tops, inlaid silver jewelry with turquoise and coral. I am a returning visitor to this boutique and had a great experience. I was shopping with my little children who can add a bit of chaos to any establishment but the owner, her daughter and mother were so gracious and helpful in assisting me with my choices. Recently visited while on vacation... While they did have some beautiful stuff, beware of the jewelry!! I was told the $30 opal ring I was buying was set on a band of silver and would not tarnish. The owner of this shop is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever encountered. My aunt was looking at a pair of "mother of pearl" earrings in his shop that she had noticed in the window when passing by. She was holding several pairs in the same style and she was comparing them to see which were the brightest in color when the shop owner started yelling at her that she was "messing up his displays". They were literally just laying on the table. He kept insisting that they were all the same color, but was very concerned that she would mix them up. When I told him he was being unnecessarily rude and pointed out the flaw in his logic, he became more anxious and irate with my aunt. My aunt walked in the store with her heart set on this pair of earrings, but we left the store without buying anything because the owner was such a jerk. He also informed her that "that was what he expected" but the reality is he lost a $48 sale (money that I will be spending at a more reputable shop in Coconut Grove). I would also like to point out that he was reluctant to bring us the pair in the window display that had first caught my aunt's eye and was very insistent that they were all the same color. Mother of pearl, which these earrings clearly were not, despite his claims, is highly variable and even the same shell will have color variations throughout. I suspect that his paranoia over her "mixing up" these earrings that he claimed were all the same stemmed from the fact that he was trying to scam customers by putting the real mother of pearl pair in the window and selling fake ones inside the shop. If this isn't the case, then he clearly doesn't know anything about his product because mother of pearl is highly variable in color and if he were interested in making a sale, he would have helped us choose the best pair instead of acting like we were looking at them too long. Don't waste your time in this store. There are too many other shops on Duval Street and in the Keys for you to be taken advantage of by a shop owner who isn't interested in good customer service and who will lie to you about the product you are purchasing and overcharge you for it. read more
