Just spoke with the owner over phone. He was very abrasive and rude asking why I wouldn't give my address. I had given my email, phone number and sent photos and he wanted to know why I wasn't cooperating with his team. He went on to tell me how much work they do...and wanted my full address for just an estimate. They weren't sending anyone out to look at the scope of work. I told him the city and that information should've been all he needed to give me a quote unless they needed to send someone out. As a woman, I need to be careful who I give out my address to, and his rudeness and disrespect was not appreciated. He dismissed me saying he didn't want to work with me. That isn't a problem since I was in the process of getting bids for my job. There are many drywall companies out there. This company won't ever get my business, and I will be sure to share my experience with co-workers, friends and family. This behavior wasn't warranted and there is enough anger in this world right now without getting belittled by a man. read more

Had a great experience with Indigo. The estimate was quick and reasonable and the person was helpful in answering questions. The estimate proposal was thorough and answered a lot of questions. Someone even followed up after the proposal was sent when I did not respond yet to see if I had any questions. Then the scheduling was easy and they got me in really fast and they came right when they said they were scheduled. The person who came, Juan, was awesome. Not only did he do a great job but he went above and beyond. The texture match was amazing. He made sure all was clean and covered and gave me reasonable expectations for what would come in the next few hours with smells, etc. Such a nice guy too. Couldn't recommend them more. Indigo Construction installed new drywall in our laundry room ceiling after a water damage restoration company got things dried out from a leak after a big rain and wind storm. The worker Juan, who was on our job, was professional from start to finish. We had opted to also have Indigo repair other small areas throughout our home, mostly places where I had tried DIY drywall repair with less than professional results. It seemed expensive for such "small" fixes, but after Juan completed the work it was clear that it was really a bargain; it gave our home that well cared for look. Very dissatisfied with Indigo overall. Where to start... They were the cheapest bid, and nothing seemed off about them. But then the work started. First off, the project manager had me do a bunch of work, installing some support beams to mount the drywall to, shaving some insulation, and more that were entirely unnecessary and not used. It was frustrating seeing hard work that I did in preparation not be used. Second, they were very loose on the schedule. I would be told they would show up between 8-9am, only to have them arrive at 1pm. This happened multiple times. I work from home, so I could accommodate, but I had to reach out each time to figure out why the contractors were not there when scheduled, plus I had to move work meetings that I had already adjusted to accommodate the schedule communicated to me. When the work was done, it was very sloppy. They fixed some of it, but there were just so many things wrong, and I'm not an expert in drywall so I didn't know to look for it. Pieces of drywall on the same plane are not level with each other, the lines between the wall and ceiling are not straight, and the job they did around a door was atrocious - not straight, jagged edges, and holes. I can understand some mistakes or imperfections - life happens. But this was just *bad* all around. The project manager did come by for an unannounced (to me) inspection, with 15 minutes warning - again forcing me to move a work meeting. He was late even on the 15 minute time frame he gave, and he spent all of five minutes in the job site. He didn't actually do any inspection - requiring me to point out what was wrong. Getting them to fix any of it was like pulling teeth, and the fixed were imperfect, too. I rated at 2 stars because they did get things done quickly, and they did come in at the lowest price. I wouldn't say best price, due to the above issues. I regret using Indigo, and wish I had gone with a contractor that was charging slightly more. If you're looking for the cheapest option, Indigo could be a good candidate. If you're looking for high quality and good attention to detail, look elsewhere. read more

Indigo was very responsive about getting a quote and setting up a date for the drywall work to start. When the workers arrived, they covered their walking path through our house to keep our floors clean. Then they set up plastic sheeting around the work area to keep any dust and debris contained. The work was done quickly and we are very satisfied with the quality. We plan to use Indigo again for another project which we don't have the time to do ourselves. read more

We had to have drywall in several rooms torn out after a roof leak on Christmas Eve, and we contracted with Indigo to replace it. The price they quoted seemed pretty reasonable, and the new drywall and texturing looks great. They also were able to get the job scheduled fast, which I appreciated. It's pretty disheartening having big holes everywhere in your house, so I was glad they could fit me in early. My only criticism is that they left a bunch of tape and dust and chunks of plaster on the floor over the weekend while the first layer of mud was drying. If it was just in the back room, which was unusable while the repairs took place, that would have been one thing. But a lot of it was left in the corner of our bedroom where it could get tracked around the house. It would have been nice if they had taken five minutes to sweep up before they left. read more

I had another company remove a popcorn ceiling and hired Indego to put up a nice new smooth ceiling (not orange texture). I was on vacation during this time and left Eddie a key to work. The job took a little over a week. It took time for the ceiling to dry and they needed the rooms to be warm, so I was glad I was on vacation. I had Indigo re-do the bathroom ceilings too, which never had popcorn ceiling, in order to have the whole place unified. I now have beautiful ceilings in every room. Indigo's response time to our initial call was very quick and once we sent a description of our (I'm guessing relatively small) repair project they got back to us with a bid right away. The work was scheduled in advance for a one-hour window and on the day of the project we were told that the worker would be here a couple of hours later than that, but this worked out OK with our schedule. The guy who did the job was very thorough and kept the workspace very clean. Best of all the repair looks even better than we expected for a price that we thought was very reasonable. When I received quotes for two small dry wall jobs, Indigo was more than double the others. I called to find out why their price was so much higher, and I became sold on the quality service I would be given. But I was wrong. I'm not necessarily complaining about the actual finished work - which was merely OK (i had originally asked the mud guy to cover deck stain that was on one wall; he covered all except the top that would have needed a ladder, and that stain remained - even the painter later had to come back twice to get it covered, when the rest of the stain was just fine once covered by the mud. it was just careless). Working with them was horrid. And it wasn't just that bit of stain near the top. After sanding down the mud, Manuel left the dust on the floor (He should have cleaned it up!), then left the windows in the tiny room open and the door partially ajar. A wind blew the door wide open and that white, fine dust blew all throughout my two story house - throughout my 1500 books, in every nook and cranny. I contacted the Project Manager Jesus. He came the next day and told me the texture guys would clean. But he didn't tell them to do so. When the texture guys were leaving, I argued with them for an hour about cleaning the dust (which actually took a team of cleaners several hours to clean). They said Jesus would have told them to clean and gotten them cleaning implements, but since he did neither, they weren't responsible. Also, when Manuel (mud guy) left, he left white footprints all over outside; and the texture guys left clothes, gloves, work implements which I still have. Sloppy, irresponsible, difficult to work with, and didn't do their job. I ended up with a fair result - not great. but certainly good. They'll say it was hard dealing with me - and I'm sure it was, given my insistence they fix their errors. But they kept lying, saying things like I denied access to their guys to clean. Preposterous. Why would I do that!? These guys are messy, sloppy, and irresponsible. Took me hours on the phone with the folks to try to make it right, and no one did. There are plenty of responsible mud guys around. Don't choose Indigo. Not worth the effort and their exorbitant price. read more

What was really awesome was how many people they have on-staff; it's clear that dry wall/insulation is truly their specialty and they do it well.
