I have a 14 month old who LOVES Curious George so we were very excited to be go. Of course, my Son slept through the whole thing but I LOVED it. There were quite a few parents there who were also enjoying story time just as much as their children were. The staff were very polite and helpful. We purchased two books for my Stepson and it was less than $20. The inside of the bookshop is very cozy, clean and inviting. They had great sale prices for the book fair and a really great section full of cards and tote bags. I will definitely be going back and I will be keeping my eyes open for future events for little ones.

All the books are in pristine collection and well organized. There is a children's section as well, with small kids toys, as well as a section advertising Klutz books for youth. Stationary, bookmarks and notepads are available too. I purchased three books and they gave me a thin cotton tote for free because I spent over $60. Great atmosphere and perfect for this location. The only thing lacking are chairs to sit on for browsing.

They have lots of records for 5 bucks, which is something like an old movie rental price. Even if I only listen to something once, the experience is worth 5 bucks. They also have way more expensive records, like limited editions of Tom Waits or whatever, which occasionally run closer to a hundred. So there's a huge range, if you're looking to spending a tiny bit of pocket money, or if you're looking to make a major investment for your collection. They also have books. I honestly use the library for books more than buying them, but sometime when I'm in here for vinyls, something on the bookshelf catches my eye, and the prices are fair. It is packed, though. Sometimes where there are a lot of customers, it is very hard to move around and look for things. So much stuff in a such a small space is a double-edged sword. This 5-star review is for my visits outside of peak times, for the selection, service, and price. During peak times, maybe only worth 4 stars because it's so hard to navigate. But the popularity is a sign of the quality, so it's hard to quibble with that.

I scored a 1000 piece puzzle for 4$!! The first floor is mainly kitchen stuff, stationary, CDS/DVDS, and the hottest books of the moment. The second floor is adult books. The third floor is toys and kids books. I don't read much in French, so I often skip the second floor. But the third floor is so fascinating. They have so many puzzles and new board games, I love browsing. They have a tiny section of YA books in english, it will mostly be the popular titles. I love it here. It's so cozy and inviting. I wish they had some small areas where you could sit and enjoy basking in the glory of their products, but I probably wouldn't buy anything if that was the case. It is next to a Starbucks so once you've bought something, you can go grab a coffee and start reading!
