We've been taking our kiddos to Little Hands for about 6 months now and cannot say enough good…read morethings. All the teachers are fantastic; they're happy to be there, they're great with the kids, and most of them are eager to communicate about your child's day and work with you on developmental goals (our youngest is potty training and they've been helpful with suggestions and ideas for success and are never judgmental about our approach). I love the fact that their day consists of learning new things, tons of reading, TONS AND TONS of artwork, and a decent amount of outside time. I've always thought a good way to tell if a child has enjoyed themselves is to just look at them. My kids come home filthy almost every day and I'm thrilled by that! They are playing hard and discovering new things and on those occasions when we can't be there to do that with them, I'm comforted to know they're surrounded by people who will nurture their curiosity and sense of adventure. Like most of the other centers in town, they have the tumble bus once a week but they also have yoga once a week and my kids have benefited from that more than I ever would have guessed. They both really enjoy that time and I would love to see other opportunities like dance or martial arts someday. I think it's a great way to introduce the kids to different activities and give them a taste of everything so they can decide which ones to pursue further on our own. Overall, I think this is a great place! They're growing and improving constantly and I'm excited my kids get to be a part of it.

We called in early March for availability for our infant and were told the soonest was May which worked perfectly with our timeline. We came in to tour and then coordinated a day to come in before our infants first day. We came in to do our orientation a week prior to the first day and Yaya seemed very confused when we came in and told us she "couldn't remember" what room our infant was placed into.. We were shown the classroom she would be in and were introduced to the teachers. We were told that she would have a cubby for all her items; however, on the first day of drop off she did not have a cubby or an area for her items. Not to mention I did not even recognize the teachers who were in the classroom with her. When I went to look for the items I dropped off, I found them items on the floor in a storage closet while other infants had their items neatly set up and put away. When we confronted the center they claimed "a label" is not a reflection of the care our child will receive and the excuse was "Erica" has been out for a week and they didn't know where our infant's stuff was so they couldn't set up her items properly. They had plenty of notice to prepare for our infant advance. It may just be a label but what it shows me they are unorganized, lack basic communication skills amongst their employees and if they can't properly store her necessities, they lack the ability to they take care of my child, it is 100% a reflection of the care my child will receive.

This is such an incredible find for our family!…read more My daughter has been attending the Summer camp here and it's amazing. The staff is SOOOO friendly and great with each child. Their schedule for activities is so much fun. Some days they are getting to enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool at the facility. Other days they go on a healthy walk along the Caughlin area with all of its beautiful landscaping, ponds to go get frozen yogurt. How cool is that? I'll be honest... Mom wants to stay and hang out too! Oh wait can't forget to mention that is is for the kids that are a tad younger like mine is. The bigger kids get to do the Adventure camp. They load up every morning and get to explore the great fun we can find in our area! The loft where the kids get to hang out when not doing outdoor activities is great. A nice reading area that can be lounged in while looking out the window. Various activity areas where they can enjoy sensory & art. Everything is tidy and clean. Which if you are like me that will be one of the first things I look for. You can't expect perfection in a room that's filled with children tearing it up but when you can see how much they keep up on everything THAT is a huge appeal. Hidden gem I wish I would have known about last Summer. Will 1000% be making sure to get my child back in for next Summer!

Despite providing them with extensive resources on how to care for a child with hearing loss, they refused to implement any of the suggestions or accommodations. This has only made my son feel like an outsider and a target, which is heartbreaking as a parent. The daycare's lack of empathy and understanding for children with disabilities is clear. My son was penalized for age-appropriate behavior like hitting and kicking, which he doesn't exhibit at home or with friends, and certainly not at Sunday school. This behavior, typical for his age just recently started within the last month. This behavior is age appropriate and was certainly not a continued issue. When asked about how it was happening they could only provide excuses about the teachers, other students and never answered my questions. The communication between teachers is abysmal, and the high turnover rate among staff only exacerbates the issue. There seems to be a lack of commitment to consistent care, and the owner, Joanne, seems to view children as dollar signs rather than individuals in need of genuine care and attention. Teachers are trained, but it doesn't seem to make any difference--there's little to no real progress in creating a nurturing environment. The classroom is chaotic, with 16 toddlers crammed into a small space, leaving no room for meaningful interaction or learning. It feels more like a fishbowl than a place for children to grow, and it is impossible for a child to thrive in this kind of environment. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your child's care. There are plenty of other daycare facilities that are equipped to handle children with special needs or any kind of disability. (A handful of reviews have stated this regarding children with disabilities, learning delays or special needs) This place is just not the right fit and has made what should be a positive experience a stressful and disheartening one for both my child and myself.

We decided we wanted to take a spur-of-the moment, overnight trip to Reno, but we needed to secure babysitting. We were nervous, because this would be the first time that we had ever left our children with anyone other than a member of our own family. We found Nanny Services of Nevada on the internet, and I left email and phone messages for the owner, Julie, late Tuesday night. We needed babysitting a mere two days later, on Thursday evening. Julie called me back the next day and we made our arrangements over the phone. She emailed a contract to me, but on Thursday, she was not certain whether I had received the contract or not. She really impressed me by going the extra mile and driving down to my hotel and dropping off a hard copy of the contract at the front desk. I had a chance to meet her, and she's friendly and professional with three sons of her own. She told me that she was going to make sure that -- no matter what -- my wife and I were going to have our night out on the town. And she really delivered on her promise. We were very pleased with Tara, the babysitter that Julie secured for us. The babies seemed well cared for, and Tara even washed all of the baby bottles before she left. What a nice touch! And we thought that both the hourly rate and the agency fee were quite reasonable. In an age of incompetence in customer service, Nanny Services of Nevada is an example of how to do it right. Quite literally, this trip would not have happened were it not for them. I would definitely use them again, and I'm really happy to know that they now operate in Las Vegas as well.
