We made an appointment on the website the night before and we chose Guadalupe Myers because of the excellent reviews we read online about her and let me share that all of them were right! We recently got married and this was our first time of doing our taxes together. Guadalupe answered all our questions and concerns including the ones regarding the status migratory of my husband and since he needed an ITIN she recommended us to do our taxes with her co-worker Deyanire Sanchez, Senior Tax Advisor and Authorized Acceptance Agent by the IRS in order to make the process more efficiently and directly. She walked us to her office and treated us very professional and friendly. She explained us the process and she even gave us a discount to pay less for our taxes and the ITIN for FREE (other places charge you up $200)! Not only that, she went the extra mile and double check my taxes from last year without any extra charge and she told me that I could file again and receive $1,552 that I missed. She was so wonderful and talked to us in Spanish since it is our first language and in order to do taxes the best way possible you need to be able to understand all the terms and the small letters. I always have done my taxes for free online and I was afraid of being over charge by using any other service but I can say that I highly recommended this H&R Block. Being in El paso I thought it said Roas's not Rose's like the actual flower. We had an appointment set for 6pm, I had called earlier that day to see if they had any openings for earlier since our kids would be in school we wouldn't have to bring them. They were booked solid but were very nice about it. We kept our appointment time at 6pm and bought our 15 month old. Apon walking in I was hesitant to bring in his stroller because i didn't know what the space was like, but after deciding to bring it We walked in the door to a lovely and spacious set up. We were greeted by the lovely receptionist (i did not catch her name) I was instructed to sign in and have a seat. We were informed about 2 mins later that our tax preparer was just about done and she would be with us soon. They had a t.v in the waiting area and 4 comfortable swivel black chairs. We watched some animal planet which my 15 month old loved. About about 7-10 mins we were seated with Beverly. She was a sweet woman and before she got to work she greeted us and our little man. After that she got straight to work. My son was a little fussy half way through and the only gentleman in there started distracting him for me while i looked for his food. Got a little flustered and everyone in there informed me that they have kids and the little crying didn't bother them. That instantly set me at ease. Found his banana and he was a happy camper. She did our taxes and in about 45 mins we were done. Everyone in there was absolutely amazing. We would definitely come back here vs H&R block next year. Thank-you.

Individualized Systems has been doing my personal and corporate taxes for 15 years. I can comfortably say that they are proficient in the ever changing tax laws, they always try to save me the most on taxes, and they are always sure I fully understand every aspect of my returns. I had a CPA in the past who was charging me double of what Individualized System charges me for a quarter of the work as they sit down with me on a quarterly basis and we discuss trends in my financials and when they can, make recommendations on where I can save. The reviewer leaving these hateful reviews obviously has a personal vendetta against the owner as I have never found them to be "vindictive", "dirty", or "bottom of the barrel". They are friendly and know the in's and outs of taxes, which is what I need. Furthermore, the statement that Ms. Shaw has "fake credentials" is ludicrous. Before I switched from my CPA I verified her information through the IRS and the Institute of Internal Auditors as anyone should do before trusting your personal information to a stranger. I TRUST Individualized Systems with all my tax, payroll, and financial needs. They have never let me down and I don't plan on going anywhere else. read more

In 2014 I was referred to Ms. Shaw and her company because I had more than a dozen years' of back taxes I hadn't filed, was coming up on retirement and had no Social Security. She sat down with me, went over my specifics, helped me locate the documents to prove my income and expenses and set about getting me caught up. As a self-employed contractor, this was more complicated than I ever thought it would be but they got it done. I'm retired now and receiving my Social Security benefits thanks to Kimberly and her excellent support staff. I can recommend their professionalism, expertise and customer service to anyone with a tax problem whether it be the IRS or a State taxing entity. On another note, I have to agree with one of the reviewers that personal hate attacks should not be allowed in these types of forums. If the reviewer cannot speak professionally about the business services, their review has no place in this forum. If the individual has a legitimate grievance, there are proper avenues to have those addressed. read more

Terribly inexperienced or simply don't care to accurately do returns. Google the address. They are in a tiny trailer-like home, which is suiting of the group. Looks can be deceiving, but not with Indivsys! The owner has never reached out and expects me to pursue her, but they are also terrible at answering phones and responding to email. She has sent threatening letters and conducts herself like a shady used car dealer. Dont be mislead by her attempts to be civil online. She is a disgusting individual, and her business did an absolutely terrible job with my return. And specifically to address her response below... Your office is a tiny shack, converted from a tiny shack home. Glad you're so successful lol, maybe get a professional office... rather than that hole in the wall where all customer's financial records are at risk of theft! read more

This company saved my life. They rescued my business from a massive IRS debt when the government was trying to take everything. I highly recommend Individualized Systems. Kimberly and her staff know the tax laws, and they know how to make sure I pay the lowest amount of tax I need to pay. I have been doing my taxes here for 4 years, and It has not been the same since covid. I dropped off two W-2's and notified them of a third that would need to be emailed as I didn't have a physical copy. They proceeded to tear the corner off a random sheet of paper and they wrote an email on it where I would send my W-2. I had requested that they call me during the process and they never did so once my taxes were filed it turned out they forgot to input an entire W-2. We had to file an amendment and they wanted to charge me for it despite the fact that they had made a mistake. They gave me the email for their insurance deals instead of the one for tax returns and then proceeded to tell me it was "MY FAULT" for using the wrong email address? On top of that they used my old address and misspelled it then told me it was my fault as well for not updating it. I checked my old tax returns and their previous employee Yvette had actually filed my taxes correctly using my new address so I don't know why they decided use the old one when I had definitely updated it. On top of that they rolled their eyes, interrupted me and I heard an employee say "quieres que le mienta, o le digo hermana" to Rosa the owner of the company through the phone. During one of the 4 days i had to visit to fix everything I saw that another customer had also had their taxes filed incorrectly. Terrible Place Skip it.
