While it has been a few months since I ate here it still stands out as one of the not so good places to eat in Geneva.
On a good note, the service was outstanding as it most often is in Switzerland and in particular in Geneva.
On the not so good side the food is just not good at all - it attempts to be Asian but the chef just does not seem to be able to pull it off. It reminds me of a novice cook that found a recipe book and just started to cook away without ever having tried the food and for that matter without the proper ingredients.
As an example, I can without reservation say that the Tempura Shrimp were the worst that I have ever had. The reason being, that if you choose to call the dish Tempura Shrimp it should at least be cooked with a tempura batter not some crepe batter that they made up. There was no crispiness only a soggy shrimp that had been thrown into the oil.
If you do not know what and how tempura should taste then either try it somewhere and emulate it or take it off the menu - don't guess how it should be made, that just does not work.
Food wise the restaurant deserves 1 star but since the service was exceptional I bumped it up to 2. read more
