I had the avocado balsamic toast with an egg and it ended up being one of the best meals I had in Sydney. The place is small but they have outdoor seating so I didn't have to wait. For a late lunch I had delicious fish and chips and my wife had a salad she liked. They roast their own specialty coffee, which are quite tasty. Seating is limited, with less than a dozen tables. They don't serve liquor, but you can go next door to the bottle shop and pick up a bottle of wine, bring it back, and enjoy it with your meal. It's an odd location, not near many other commercial establishments, with limited parking. So it won't be a destination for many. But the local crowd clearly loves it already. The two young ladies who own it have been present and working hard each time I was there. They also have a case with a dozen gelatos around the side of the counter. Currently they're closing about 4pm each afternoon.

It's sad when I considered walking next door to the mini mart for a DARE Iced coffee. Now, its not all doom and gloom. The Mexican Baked Eggs were actually quite good. The key to their success in my mind was the inclusion of jalapeños and some melted cheese. My only suggestion would be some small pieces of bacon or ham to add in some salt/meat goodness. The missus avocado and salsa toast was ok; nothing special. Verdict; if you are driving by and curious about why this place is busy... try it out. But be warned their coffee is below subpar and its not worth travelling to try.

Saying that they are willing here to add or subtract anything on the menu to make exactly what you would like on your plate. I do go by two names, so it does make it hard for them. I'd point you in the direction of the hard to miss, outdoor seating - 'bike-seat-turned-stool' chairs, and ironing board tables that adjourn the red brick facade that face onto Redfern St. If you miss out on the hand-stitched leather saddles, pick up a milk crate, and soak up the sun on the sunniest spot in Redfern. Dig into the incredibly tasty, and somewhat greasy (although that's what makes them so damn tasty) bagels, which are also delicious for your wallet, as you'll be able to pick up a $1 campos coffee with every bagel snapped up.

I would come here for breakfast every day if it wasn't on the other side of the globe... The regular latte and a chai latte are both perfectly smooth and beautifully presented. We also shared the smoked salmon avocado bruschetta and the feta, avocado and tomato bruschetta which are made with amazingly fresh produce that tasted like there's a vegetable garden in the back. They are served on GIANT delicious fresh baked slices of bread. We also bought a chicken sandwich as a to-go lunch to eat later but it had been consumed within 15 minutes of us leaving the place.
