Which is fine as I found an amazing company that did a fantastic job through Yelp. Refi is already done and signed on Wednesday. But just so they know... I will make the initial contact, but you either want my business or you don't. Guess not this time. No hard feeling and not upset. Just leaving a review. Edit: I am going to bump up to 3. I was reached out to and definitely felt remorse on their end on the mix up. I obviously cannot give them a high rating as I didn't get to work with them and don't know how well they do personally. But from the amount of positive ratings they have received from others they may be worth checking out. My mix up appears to be just a small blip and not of the ordinary.

I couldn't possibly recommend Soverign any LOWER, nor Wyndham any HIGHER. As for Lending Tree, since they did connect me with Wyndham, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here, and hope they scrub Soverign from their recommended list. Standard cautions apply: Caveat Emptor!! Be a savvy shopper for a mortgage or Re-Fi; Do your Homework; Contact Multiple sources (I spoke with five, including my Credit Union); don't EVER accept the first offer you get; and watch the paperwork closely! An internet search steered me to LendingTree, I entered all my information and the only thing I indicated I was interested in was a loan. After entering my details I was taken to a screen where it said it'd be helpful if I got a credit check for $1. When I did an internet search for the the site I was taken to when I clicked on that offer, I found it was often used to get people to enter their personal details and bank card information with the promise of an inexpensive credit report, but the real aim was for the site to get details about the person entering their information. I closed that page without entering anything. Next, LendingTree directed me to try and get car insurance quotes, which I didn't need and wasn't interested in. I was only here to check auto loan rates, so I closed my browser. While I never got a single message or e-mail or call from any lenders with offers for loans with great rates, which is the only reason I went to LendingTree, instead I got both texts and calls from car dealerships wanting to sell me a vehicle! I didn't need a car, I was already contracted to purchase one, I just went to LendingTree to compare loan quotes - and that's the one thing I never received. Aggravating for sure.
