I was looking for a small to mid sized company that had an owner that was actively involved, and had a small crew and knew what they were doing. Sergey came to our house to check out the damage both exterior and interior, and we set an appointment for Mike and Sergey to return to meet with the insurance adjuster so they could help us work with our insurance company to ensure that the entire roof was covered. The adjuster found evidence of severe weather damage to the roof, and Lifetime Builders placed me on the schedule for installation for the very next week. The crew arrived early on the day they were scheduled. The men were very friendly, and they worked hard all day. The first day, they did most of the removal of the old roof and installed weatherproofing for the new one. They did a phenomenal job on clean-up after the demo day, and they came back first thing the next morning and installed the new roof all within the second day. The workers left my yard looking just as good or better than before once finished with final cleanup. We had a new roof within 2 weeks of calling Lifetime Builders, and Lifetime Builders helped us work with our insurance company to ensure that every expense except our deductible was covered and paid for. Nothing but the facts and no opinion!…read more Scheduled job to start work 3 months after first meeting. Roofing, siding, gutters and additional building. We were told the roofers would use an elevated collection bin for the roofing to avoid damaging the landscaping and surrounding area. Didn't happen. Roofing was completed, driveway and landscaping were damaged. Asked about the schedule for siding, gutters and additional building. No answer. Month later part of the side was done, the contractor loaded up the remaining new box of siding and left. Notified Prominent immediately what was happening but nothing was done. Hired a lawyer who sent a letter to Prominent but neither him or I received a response. My attorney said for me to "keep track of every call/text/email". Two months later the remaining wall was sided but not without damaging our water feature in the landscape. The gutters were to be completed just a couple days after the siding but didn't happen for another two months. We had seamless gutters and the replacement gutters were apparently seamless but used prefabricated corners which created seams. Not what we had. Took another month before addressing the additional building. Well over 50 text/emails and over 40 calls in order to get the job done. Lots of no answers, misinformation, and extreme frustration.

I had a real piece of mind. One last thing, there were a few issues with my previous roof and I was having leaks and had some rotted trim boards. All of the roofing companies were quite busy due to recent storm damage. Some didn't return calls, and we even had a couple no-show on scheduled estimates. Matt K, in contrast, was extremely responsive and reliable. We left a message on a weekend, and he called back that same weekend, and scheduled a time for an estimate within a few days. He came for the estimate at the appointed time, and promptly emailed us a detailed, thorough, and competitive bid. He then answered all of our questions thoroughly and knowledgeably about the proposed work and process. Matt was easy to talk with, explained about roofing in terms that we could readily understand, did not up-sell, and provided honest evaluations and recommendations from his decades of roofing experience. Shortly after that, while we were still evaluating our options, we had a leak concern. In response, Matt was able to juggle schedules to fit our replacement in quickly. His crew (led by Brendan), was efficient and careful, and were able to complete the tear-off and replacement in a day, even though winds reached up to 20 mph some of the time. Green Guard replaced siding and wrapped all of the trim on our old garage and did excellent finish work. On an old barn, they replaced the entire roof and underlay, as well as wrapping the trim. Initially my insurance company claimed my roof was normal wear and tear with age. Green guard construction Immediately took action and requested a second look from my insurance. Upon a second look after Green Guard fighting my insurance for me, they had my roof approved. Communication was excellent throughout the process all the way until my roof was redone. Upon completion they cleaned up their mess very thoroughly and i am highly pleased with their quality of work, excellent customer service, and great communication.
