BUT, everywhere I try within a 15-mile radius is not able to help or in a scary neighborhood. . None accept Molina or accepts new patients or both. These are recommendations which have been recently suggested, phone-based calls on Molina Healthcare public phone number, several transfers, suggested phone numbers, ALL for nothing! Due to this year's change in insurance. I've had to suffer the ineptitude of Molina...particularey any mental health protocol. Shocking! and potentially harmful. 100% incompetent/ negligent. I was transferred at least 8 times, plus "call-back" numbers...simply trying to obtain a 10-15 minute appt with a genuine MD, specializing in Psychiatry. ALL I require is the continuation of existing meds prescribed by my last Dr. What's so hard about that? I spent from 11:30am to 4pm exhaustively TRYING to connect to a legit psychiatrist's office to make a simple appt!!! What the hell is wrong with you people?!? i USED TO TRUST YOU. 4 1/2 hrs is LONG ENOUGH!!! I've been patient, mindful of my tone, complimentary of stellar customer service....though lacking in results. You should be ashamed!!! I miss my PPO!!! You suck!!!!!!!

He is professional, listens to your concerns, and helps develop of plan of care WITH your input. I've now been getting allergy shots at the clinic weekly with Jay, RN and he is also fabulous! He is super friendly and takes great care of all the patients. Definitely recommend coming here for the allergy clinic!! As for the ophthalmologist I saw, he was not friendly and dismissed my concerns. He almost laughed them off to be honest. I haven't felt that disrespected in a while. Wouldn't recommend.

I waited 3.5 hours, the last 30 minutes in a room, at Logan Urgent Care, waiting for a Dr--who, I…read morefound out, had literally Gone To Lunch after I'd been called in. Is this Urgent Care? Today I am told to go to Urgent Care again but I am in so much pain I cannot get there without either an ambulance or maybe an Uber/Lyft. If it is a car service, I'd better be super lucky to get an able-bodied, kind and compassionate driver to help me bc I honestly NEED assistance.... Can I count on that? And if they tell me at Logan Heights to wait, can I lie down? I cannot sit or stand bc the nerve pain stabs me unexpectedly and will MAKE me lie down. Or, should I get to the ER in an ambulance, which I'm pretty sure my insurance won't pay for bc it is not h mo open"life-threatening?" The system's flaws make it almost impossible to be productive cared for.

I've noticed each time I've been here they speak Spanish and the television is tuned to Spanish channels. After my exam they told me it would be 4 to 6 weeks before my glasses were ready. Much to my delight my glasses were ready within 3 weeks! I was looking forward to them as my old glasses effectiveness had worn off. When I first tried them on they fit perfect. If you need any adjustments to your glasses just ask. I've been wearing them for almost a week now and they are just wonderful. They have plenty of parking in the rear of the building. Just be careful when you get out of your car as the spaces are super close. Also if you have any sort of disability, there is an elevator to reach the upper floors. Plus they are still requiring everyone to wear a mask within the facility. I plan on coming back here for my next exam and new pair of glasses if needed. My insurance covers both costs.

We've been visiting the Balboa Hospital facility lately to help my no-longer-driving parents get to their checkup appointments and unexpected emergency room visits. They are doing well, especially because of the professional medical staff. The good: care, concern, and treatment. I may not be the patient, but as an advocate, I appreciate the hospital staff explanations of procedures in common terms so I can repeat it back to my parents, especially because pops doesn't hear so well these days. The pharmacy wait time has gotten better since medication refills are handled at satellite locations elsewhere around town. This pharmacy is open 24/7 for ER patients. The bad: chow options during daytime and lunch hours are food truck(s) at the parking circle, some popup tents at the quad in front of the pharmacy, the hospital cafeteria, Subway, or McDonalds. At night, Subway and McD are the only dinner options...both do recognize mobile app ordering in advance. Hit & miss wait times if you need to need to leave a sample at the Lab, but you can schedule an appointment. The ugly: late morning parking can be atrocious. I get frustrated with having to drop off someone at the circle then driving over to the top floor of the parking structure because there are no open handicapped or regular parking spaces available. If you have an early appointment, account for possible heavy traffic at the sentry gate. Thank you to the medical teams working at NMCSD. I appreciate y'all.
