I try not to shop here because it's so expensive. I stopped today just because I was driving by and needed bread and eggs. I grabbed a sandwich at the deli, it had 1 tiny slice of turkey and a half piece of cheese, pretty much a bread sandwich. C'mon you can do better. read more

I hope management sees this, because they really need to pay attention to a few things I'm going to mention. First, please price check everything you have because I'm tired of bringing price discrepancies to the attention of the cashier. When hiring young cashiers, try to hire ones that really want to be there. If you are going to advertise a sale item would at least try to have it in stock? Also, beware of the eggs here. I stopped buying them at Ingles because nearly every time there are broken and no matter how well I checked in the store, they were broken on the sides where not visible at first. Now it's not all bad, otherwise I'd have given this store one star. Every time we used the deli we've had great service. Keep the friendly, helpful ones. The stockers are great and always try to help us find things we don't see at first. The baggers are very sweet and helpful. A nice way to complete our shopping experience! read more

When I came to SC I was excited that there was a Publix but for whatever reason it was extremely disappointing and not at all what I remembered to to be when I was in FL. This Ingles however is more like what I remember Publix being. It's a clean store, never seems to be busy, easy to get in and out of, never much of a line, easy parking, good deli and bakery. It's annoying that you need to have a store card though and some of the employees have been less than friendly. read more

Worst customer service of all time. I've had multiple occasions where items have been priced wrong or I don't have my card, so I don't get the sale price. The cashier asked me to take a picture of the sign to "prove" the price I anticipated paying. There seems to be a perpetual need for a managers override key when making simple purchases. Few lanes are open with long line wait times. No help at self-checkout. Generally ignored or unfriendly experiences with management. The parking lot is dangerous as the lanes are narrow and unpainted and there are giant potholes and the entire thing is sloping downhill. Carts are on the loose and headed toward ACE. I hate this necessary evil in my shopping routine (the only place that carries a specific beverage I buy.) Any other grocery store is definitely worth the trip. read more

Have lived in the area for 26 years and have shopped in several different stores at different times. Ingles on Ann St., Pickens is by far our favorite. The produce is the best by far of any available elsewhere. The staff is friendly and helpful, We rarely have difficulty finding what we want, but when we do, they will take us right to it, not just tell us the aisle number. Their meat department is another far superior area. They will cut anything you need to order, right away, and it's all very fresh. We love this store. It's clean, friendly, well stocked, and overall a very pleasant place to shop. read more

3-26-21 around 715 to 720pm I was standing at the steak counter looking at steaks. I saw two that I wanted. Thick cut ribeyes. While I waited for a few minutes for someone to help me. A black guy I'm guessing the butcher came out and just turned the lights off in the meat counter after he saw me standing there waiting. I asked if it was closed and he said "yeah thats why I turned the lights off". With a smart-ass undertone. Needless to say. I walked out and left my cart right there. That was my dinner I was trying to buy. I work out of town so everything in my house is frozen solid. I will never set foot in that store again. read more

This review is for the deli and hot, prepared food section. They never seem to have what the customer comes in and asks for. Want three pieces of fish to take home? Only have one. Want four pork patties? Only two here....fried chicken? No breast pieces, and it will be thirty minutes before we have more. In other words, the place is poorly managed. If you do happen to luck out and they have what you want, it's actually pretty good! But they don't seem to pay attention to what they have and what they need in the prepared food. The rest of the store is good - produce manager is great, and keeps things moving so you don't see overripe stuff. You'll see a lady moving around, cleaning the store and it is usually spotless. The management sometimes needs a firecracker placed near them to get it, but when they pay attention, they will bring in more of a product so that it's there when you shop! Now, if they could only do a better job on the deli....... read more

Several people throughout the store have been helpful....The young man in the deli dept is pleasant and cheerful.
