Unsanitary. I went there to have a mole removed and upon entering it's a cute and modern reception…read morearea. To me the receptionists personality and the aesthetics were the only positive part of visiting here. I used the restroom while I was waiting and there were boxes stored in the room, cluttering the floor. The trash can was to the top, nearly overflowing, with paper towels and bloodied gauze. Then, I was called for my appointment. The mole removal was very slow versus others I've had removed but it was alright. The main unsanitary part is the assistant's hands, and the Dr that permits it. The assistant had long gel/acrylic nails on ungloved hands that she handled everything with. There was no sink in the exam office either, it was immediate touch this to that. The tablet to sign, the door handle, the swabs, and the bandaid. After the removal, while she was putting on the bandaid, I even asked if she should be wearing gloves to which she replied she wasn't worried about it. So with my fresh bleeding wound there was no conern about bacteria on her hands; it sounded like her only thought was that she wouldn't get anything from me. I've worked in a medical setting and even painted nails were never allowed because of bacteria. There was no unprompted aftercare instructions also, not verbal or written, I had to ask. I've had moles removed before to know not to swim or go in a hot tub right after but I wanted to check if there was anything else to know or that I've forgotten. On checkout the receptionist was friendly but they had her give incentives for patients Google reviews. It was to get a free face product in exchange for a review. Grain of salt with all those positive reviews. One final note is I had an appointment that they cancelled an hour before the appointment. It wasn't a big deal at the time to reschedule but if I needed arrangements for childcare, transportation, or time off from work to handle a last minute cancelation/reschedule it could have caused issues.
