They're open Tuesday through Saturday and take appointments with a $20 deposit. Peep their website for specials and availability, as it's appointment only. My nine year old had a horror story from a botched Claire's piercing years ago. (Long story short, it wasn't done properly and her lobe ripped. Eek.) Fast forward a few years and after letting her lobes heal fully-- I felt we were ready to try again. I contacted Steeve and he was confident we'd have no issues and I set up an appointment! We popped in on a Tuesday (buy one piercing, get one free). The staff greeted us with smiles! My daughter, Cora, went to the jewelry case and selected a bubble gum pink opal set that were reasonably priced. There was quite a selection: tons of sizes, metals, etc. Steeve was a calm, professional presence that treated Cora with respect and care. He walked her through the process and showed her what he was doing or going to do. He let her know he'd stop whenever she wanted and really emphasized it was ok to be nervous. He had her do deep breaths throughout as a way to countdown when a piercing was going to happen and even jammed some Taylor Swift during the appointment. It was refreshing as a parent to not be the one he was talking to, but Cora, instead. It's her ears after all! Cora was a rockstar (not even a tear was shed) but I attest it is partly because Steeve and the entire team set her up for success. Reminder-- bring an ID! Even for littles it is required. Release Body Modification is a piercing shop that can do just about anything you want, piercing wise. Quality is definitely the #1 priority from the piercing itself to the jewelry sold here. The most recent is what I find to be subpar and the reason I am done getting bad tattoos. I wanted the new tattoo to be the best and all I got was so-so. If an artist feels the location isn't the best, offer another location or admit thay it can't be done in a way to be proud of. This new one HAD to be perfect, it HAD to make me proud. It was of my brother's participation in the Navy,.on an aircraft carrier. He now has stage 4 small cell lung cancer as well as brain damage from falls necessitating 3 craniotomies. I cannot show Jim my tattoo in honor of him. You tell me, is this tattoo for my brother, Jim, something that you would be proud to show a professional tattoo. VERY UNFORTUNATELY, I do not. It cannot be fixed. That's the one bad thing about tattoos. Note the lettering at the end of of "Oriskany" and the.l crooked lines in the yellow and red shading. I wasted $230 on a bad tattoo.

He is actually a super friendly guy and has a lot of interesting things to say. My one piercing done here was from Steve and it was a 0g punch on my left lobe to fix some old scar tissue. It turned out wonderfully and I couldn't be happier. Steve has a great "bed side" manner and really knows his stuff. He always explains what he is doing and what to expect next which is great. The prices are good, they have a nice selection of jewelry, and their are plenty of artists to choose from so you will probably find someone that can do whatever you have in mind. Kris made sure to talk through the aftercare process (even though I've been tattooed before) and free touch up policy before we started, then had the paperwork ready to go. She also made sure to go over the final design with me one more time and then helped place the stencil so it frames my shoulder really well. She not only showed me the sealed needles but also talked about which colors and shades she chose and why. Once we got rolling Kris was so easy to talk to the time just flew by. I hardly felt a thing until the very end. 4 hours very well spent, and a beautiful tattoo is done.
