Ink Lounge is now my go to printing shop. They do excellent art as well as give back to the community. They have offered up free printings (donations accepted of course) on shirts a couple of times for community and awareness. All donations at this printing went directly to the Immigrant Rights Coalition here in Colorado. In addition to shirts, they do an array of poster printings as well. Went to Ink Lounge for one of their free t-shirt screen printing to support CIRC (CO Immigration Rights Coalition). All donations went directly to CIRC, and depending on the amount of your donation, you could also get one of their many beautiful printed posters. The screen print was excellent, with vibrant colors. Staff & volunteers were amazing. They had a printout with care instructions for the screen print. Ink Lounge is always paired up with other businesses or non-profits to screenprint for a cause. Follow on social media to keep updated on events. Ink Lounge also does workshops, posters, and art prints. I hope to delve into screen printing and take a workshop with my bestie to continue supporting this incredible business. read more

I was excited to run across InkLounge when looking for some print-related me time, and the Tuesday evening screenprinting workshop delivered in spades! I was astounded to find how small our particular group was- four students to one clearly passionate and skilled teacher- and further surprised by how casual yet info-packed the evening was. Stuart is obviously a master printer but also an engaging, attentive and open instructor. Score! In just a couple hours we were able to get a good grasp on basic design, logistics and materials as well as insight to how and why his studio is set up as it is, which is always fun. For such a nominal fee, the class allows attendees to print off a handful of self-provided items (and Stuart was super gracious to me when I missed the official file upload deadline for my design). Everyone was really happy with their work and had a very enjoyable evening. This a great alternative to corporate sip-n-art type experiences in that you get to meet a local working artist in his personal studio, get a look at a complete medium set-up and walk through a very simple project with one-on-one instruction for damn near the same price (less the alcohol, which was a plus to me)! I hosted my daughter's birthday party at Ink Lounge, and it was fantastic! Nicky was fabulous to work with before, during, and after our event. She and Kirsten were patient and kind while teaching 15 8-9 year olds how to screen print in a way that they could all do it themselves and have really great results. All of the kids had so much fun! The studio is really well laid out with plenty of room (and parking) to host an event and have lots of people screenprinting at one time. Plus, the whole experience was very reasonably priced.
