To the left of the entrance are thousands of post office boxes. A long time ago I recall the thrill of reserving my first post office box in college. PO Box 803. I was excited because that was also our area code. Then next year, we moved to area code 864. I did not receive PO Box 864. I was shortly banned from the post office due to "attitude issues." To the right of the entrance are the human-staffed counters. These brave souls take on the best and worst our little suburb can throw at them: badly-written addresses, questions about where to vote, and boxes of questionable content. There is also a faded sign where the copier once was. Thanks Kinkos for making post office copiers a socialist thing. Beyond knowing your post office is there, you should know there is way more action behind the counter.
