Staff was nice when joining and very reasonable for price of membership at $25 at the time of writing this. My only gripe with this location is they don't have paper towels to wipe down machines before and after each use. Instead they have blue rages and spray bottles placed throughout the gym which is cause for concern. Everyone touching the same towels after working up a sweat is not sanitary. If they corrected this then it'll be a 5 star review.

Apparently, the gym once failed to charge around $10, and somehow that magically turned into a $150 collection account. If this debt was real, why were we allowed to open new memberships? Why did nobody mention it for years? Why did the staff tell us our accounts were clear? And now the gym's response is basically: "We can't do anything, it's already with collections." Very convenient. In my opinion, this is an extremely shady and dishonest business practice. Keep every cancellation receipt, email, screenshot, and document if you deal with this place, because years later you may suddenly get a surprise call from a debt collector. After this, I have zero trust in this business.

Usually, I would just get a national plan from 24hour fitness but there are no 24hour fitness locations in the area. So I went with a friend of mine as a guest. I think the machines are well maintained, most of them work just fine, have clear signs if they are being worked on, and even in busy times, I had no problem getting on a machine to work out. My 3/5 stars has nothing to do with that. What happened was that I was standing behind someone waiting to sign in a guest. as a business analyst I know that this is a great opportunity to upsell the membership and that is just good business, but the way the Esporta Fitness employee went about it was off-putting. I was standing behind someone else and the employee said, "want to become a member? The customer said, " I don't do that". As a respecter of upselling there is a right way and wrong way to go about the next statement. The employee did the wrong thing. He said, "you have something against fitness?" Nope, wrong question. What you're supposed to say is, "we have great trial periods and make it really easy to cancel anytime, our monthly fees are low and if you come more than X number of days that more than pays for the membership, yadayadayada". I was standing in fear that I was going to be inundated with a similar upsale tactic and that I was going to lose my s*&t. So he didn't say that to me, what he said was, "can you believe that guy? All I'm trying to do is tell him about our membership and he gives me attitude!" Nope, wrong statement. If this reflects Esporta Fitness I will be looking for alternatives to my short terms fitness solutions. If this is a one-off, consider this my complaint about the employee to the establishment. There's plenty of parking in the front and the back and at night they have a cleaner who comes and refreshes the bathroom and mops the floor. Even still, the gym is pretty filthy though if you look at different areas, you can see where dust has collected, dirt, and sweat. I really wish they had more regular cleaning and actual wipes instead of paper towel towels with a cleaning solution on it to wipe the machines when finished. The space is small so they have to do what they can with the space but the equipment is placed relatively close. I also wish it were permitted for members to use the personal training area when sessions are not ongoing because that equipment appears to largely be unused. Planet Fitness unlike other gyms also does not have a sauna, but they do have tanning and Hydro massage chairs. The goodie bags that they sell are extremely outdated so I would like to see them improve that as well, but I will not be purchasing it regardless. Now that I have stopped personal training at my other gym, I may end up canceling both planet fitness and the other gym and just joining a gym with all of my favorite amenities plus being open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For all these reasons, I would rank this planet fitness three out of five stars. The thing that would bring planet fitness to a higher ranking cleanliness, other offers or amenities and maybe a reorganization of the equipment.

The studio has cute aesthetics and two different versions to choose from, heated and unheated. The hot room side opened more recently and is a cute space, if wanting to work up a big sweat. The side I tried was a bounce class on the unheated side. I always love a bounce class and Danielle always brings the energy and a good workout!
