The rooms are stocked with snacks and there's some local artwork you can purchase if you like. The upstairs suite doesn't have any kind of a kitchen, though there's a mini-fridge and I believe a microwave, so dishes are bussed out as you use them; don't plan on doing any food prep on your own. The hostess brought breakfast to the room (there's not a common dining room like most B&Bs) and pointed out the local ingredients including eggs from her chickens and vegetables from the garden. This is a real working mini-farm and it's fun to stroll the grounds and see what is going on. And it's VERY close to the northeast corner of the campus; we were able to leave our car and walk to his dorm (Van Meter) in about 20 minutes. Like the website says, the grounds are very rich in animals and there's an extremely friendly cat who wouldn't stay out of our room in spite of the management's desire to keep the premises pet-free. Keep this in mind if you have allergies.

This is a farm to table place in that much of what is served at breakfast comes from the farm. There's a farm stand in the barn that is popular with locals. The inn is a good deal, being well underpriced for this value. The house was built in 1780 and was restored by the same person who did the Historic Deerfield houses. It's wonderful. My family traveled here for Thanksgiving 2019 and we had a tremendously wonderful stay at this traditional country farm and home. Most notably, the entire facility is clean and very well maintained. Our gracious host and owner Judy greeted us and made us feel comfortable in her home. We rented the Autumn suite located on the top floor which included a huge bedroom with a queen bed, a separate bedroom with two twins, and a dedicated bathroom to be shared by the suite. Being a cold autumn week, the cozy living room and fireplace was a welcome place to relax, along with her very well-behaved dog and cat. In the morning we walked her property to visit her goats and sheep, to return to a wonderful farm fresh breakfast that Judy prepared. Our family was so impressed by Judy's warmth and service, and our memories of her wonderful and clean home will be forever cherished. We hope to come back again next year for more memories.
