The locations are large, and there was enough space for individual investigation at each location. I actually found the most incredible evidence when we investigated as a group by asking questions together using a spirit box. Clinton, our guide, was genial & knowledgable. The locations to drive to were not too far, and driving in the dark was a lot of fun! We were given a run down of all the devices we could use, and I had no issues wanting to use whatever equipment I wanted at the locations despite there being many people. I would definitely book again with this company. Well worth the money for three hours, and able to go to locations with so much history we wouldn't have otherwise known about.

To respond to reviews posted over nine months ago by accusing honest reviewers of being "competitors" and implying that we didn't take the tour because she can't find our names in her tour list FROM OVER NINE MONTHS AGO is ridiculous, immature, and unprofessional. If you read almost any review that gives less than 5 stars, there are accusations from the manager of us not being actual customers. I encourage everyone to read those responses and decide if this is a business you truly want to support. To prove I was on the tour, SPOILER ALERT, the "Brooke" entity is at the Eisenhower Bridge and was supposedly murdered, according to Clinton - although, research found no documentation of this incident. Also, if the company has exclusive access to 54 acres that are next to the battlefield, then why did we set up on a picnic table under the shelter just to listen to ghost stories? We were only permitted to walk around the trail that borders the dog park and I assure you, that area was NOT 54 acres.

I stayed here…read morewhile traveling over Memorial Day weekend, and generally found the stay to be straight-forward and comfortable. There were just a couple "blips" in the stay that dragged down the overall experience. I stayed in a room with a king-size bed as well as a sofa/bed. Any time I was in the room I was a perfectly happy camper. The sofa was relatively comfy to sit on (it did feel a bit firm, perhaps it's a newer purchase that hasn't been fully broken in with use yet?); the bed was also relatively OK...although it definitely would have benefited from having firm pillows to choose from. Instead, all four pillows were suuuuuuper soft - so much so that they offered almost no support and practically went flat when in use. Also, at least one outlet by the bed was basically unusable; it would show as charging while inserting a charger, but the moment there was no pressure from a hand plugging the device in, it stopped charging. Fortunately, the other outlets worked, but if I hadn't caught that it would have put a damper on my trip for sure (since we use our phones for everything, including navigation). I didn't really use them but I did like the layout of the desk, dresser, and TV - they were slim/sleek and lined up side by side against a single wall across from the bed and sofa. Very practically laid out and ensured there was lots of space in the room, which larger parties would appreciate. There was also a fridge (which I did use) and a Keurig coffee machine (which I did not use). Now we come to the bathroom. I took advantage of the tub and enjoyed a hot bath - yay! But when I went to take a shower, the showerhead legit sounded like a tea kettle whistling...the entire time. I have no idea why, and couldn't adjust the angle of the showerhead to see if that helped. It did not make for a relaxing environment to clean up in, get ready for the day, etc. On a general note: there is an outside pool at this hotel but no hot tub. Good news for families, bad news for those of us who like soaking in hot tubs. Finally, I want to note that I was on the 4th floor, and as far as I can tell, the only way to get to an upper floor was to use a single small, slow elevator. The signage near the stairs gave me the impression that if you opened the stair doors alarms might go off? It was either that or they were trying to indicate that the stairs were the emergency exits. Other reviews now give me the impression that I could have used the stairs - as you might imagine, I was inclined to play it safe in the moment. But as a result, unloading my car and reloading my car was the most aggravating part of the trip; it took a while and I was always hot and tired from carrying my items after waiting for that single little elevator. I'd stay here again for a single night, since overall things were acceptable, but if I was looking for lodging for a longer stay I'd look for other options; because even if I was wrong about the stairs and if all the showerheads worked in all the rooms in the future, I honestly wouldn't be able to tolerate the pillows for more than a single night!

It was cancelled without notice. They note my stay was to be paid for by 12, the day of check in. they provided a credit card number that wasn't even mine and wouldn't even try to accommodate this wrong doing. called all credit cards to determine if they tried to charge and it was a no. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express again nor will I recommend them to anyone. Very poor customer service!
